Rafa has been building a good team over a few years - but man for man how good are they really?

Reina - Easily one of the top five keepers in the world - best penalty saver - probably.

Agger - A very good almost complete defender - no surprise if madrid are after him - Could easily walk into most first teams.probably

Skrtel - As good as all but maybe ten in the world , turned into a very decent signing.more to come? probably

Carragher - consistent , commanding , not perfect - but a great leader - top ten?probably

Hyypia - A beast in his day - a rock for us and still going just - In his day ? top 5 , probably

Aurelio - decent left back - not world class - can improve ? probably not

Dossena - Average at best - likes to get forward - could turn out decent - not world class, but was evra when he joined united?

Degan - Fail

Arbeloa - made messi look average on his debut - very good defender , can play multiple positions - Not quite world class, but can he improve ? probably

Mascherano - probably the best holding player in the world - def top 3

Alonso - probably second only to pirlo in his ability to pass the ball - world class? jury just out , but probably yes

Steven Gerrard - probably capable of beating most teams by himself - world class? Yes ....probably yes (fook it , YES)

Lucas - great potential but no where near world class yet.

Kuyt - Not quite there - would we miss him if he left - probably , but if he did leave it would be a step down for him .

Pennant - was man of the match in a champions league final -but realistically not world class or even international class . If he had stayed away from birds and booze and trained with his shoes tied could he have been a contender? probably

Babel - not there yet but has the potential to go to the top level - most teams would snap him up in a heartbeat - top 5 young players in the world - probably.

Benayoun - Decent international , never gonna make it to world class , but always gonna give you 100% very skillfull player that will chip in with a few assists , probably

keane - for the year 2007 he was the highest scorer in the best league in the world - has amased nearly 100 million in transfer fees - great international - probably not world class

Reira - looking very decent - top 10 left winger in the world - probably.

Torres - world class - best in world -probably



Liverpool fc the best team in the whole world , probably? no probably about it

That's just bias but on their side too. A few Arsenal fans were getting carried away when rumours Xabi could be moving there started for instance.

Would they have called him world class before and capable of walking into any side? No.

Would they call him that now? No.

Would they have called him that then? Many would have.

But then I'm definately biassed here, always had a soft spot for Xabi, and no matter how big or long his form drops are he'll always be world class to me

Other than that, without argument Torres and Gerrard. Mascher just below them. Agger and Reina next.

Gerrard and Torres are certs!! Reina is unbelievable and I cannot think of any other GK better at saving penalties!! Then again would I class him in the same bracket as Buffon? Probably not yet!!

Mascherano needs to keep doing it for 2/3 years before we can talk about world class, definitely has it in him though!!

The only players we have that would make a world 11 are Gerrard & Torres. We have 2 players in a world 11 and that is nothing to be ashamed of. Arseanl dont have any, and ManU only have 1.
