exactly the point i'm struggling to make - i am baffled that people want rafa gone - yes he makes mistakes, but he is liverpool through and through - I'm staggered to think people should sack him - why? firstly, who would you want to replace him, secondly, say we finished 3rd in the league just 3 points off the top, thats depserartlley close and unclucky and people are saying he should get sacked - so then what, reina, mascherano, alonso, torres turn round and say i am going too, a new manager comes in and gets rid of all the coaching staff, and we start the whole process of rebuilding again, menaing we will be another 3 or four years from challening, and then say if the new manager does a good job but doesn't iwn the league in the 5 years despite the fcat we improve and come even closer, what sack them!! - ****ing hell are people expecting that if we sacked rafa this season, and brought in say Jose Mourinho - that next season we will beat everyone 5-0 and win the league with 100pts

How has this thread turned from congratulating the players to slagging Keane, Dossena and talk of sacking Rafa. Feckin hell some people just cant be happy, top of the league, most ever points in the Champs League and still crap like this.

it's not ridiculous - it's ****ing bizarre - i certainly not one of these people that are always positive and i'm certainly not part of the rafa can do know wrong brigade - when frustrated and pissed of, yeah i will have a go at players/managers etc when i feel it's justified but i am a realist - and realistically - right now, although there are a few problems, i have been fuming at rafa and some players at games like portsmouth at home, where depsite the 1-0 win, we were ****ing terrible people have to be more realistic - i just don't understand what people want or expect

Yes we all want every single player to play like maradona every week and we win every game and win every title - but come on that isn't goign to happen -right now, at this moment in time i am just gobsmakced that people can be as so blunt to say - that if rafa doesn't win the league this season he should, depsite the fact they have zero idea how the rest of the season will pan out - it's ridiculous

With some people there is just no understanding them - I just don't know what would make them happy, i don't think they have agendas as such aimed at particular players or the manager -

happy we finished top, well pleased we're top of the league but honestly i don't think i'm the only one that's worried about our league form at the moment, especially at home.

Nobody's got 'so excited', people are pleased that we won convincingly away in europe, with a weak side and they're happy to see fringe players perform well and in some cases, scores goals which will help increase their confidence. Furthermore, trash or not, we were playing at a fairly high level of competition and it's pleasant to see that there are circumstances where fringe players can come in and offer a valuable and useful input. Certainly proves they do have their uses and this helps justify their presence in our squad.

I consider myself to be fairly 'feet on the ground' and i dont like to get carried away with things, but you have to see things for what they are.

You come across as though you'll break your back to find a negative slant and it's reaching the point where it does come across as though it's so emphatic, that it cant be genuine. Hence the WUM comment, because some of your input is so bizarre that people struggle to take it seriously.
