happy we finished top, well pleased we're top of the league but honestly i don't think i'm the only one that's worried about our league form at the moment, especially at home.
Every single fan of LFC is worried, so not the only one no, but most feel dwelling on it is bad, not supporting certain players is bad, booing is bad, while the season is in full swing it should be imo support, and only support, it's what we do best after all, then when the season is over, win or lose, we can apportion the blame to whoever we feel deserves it.

Course i'd miss you!! You ain't the worst of the negative mob, at least you can sometimes argue a point, when you choose to. But i'm not sure every one is getting over excited, i think people are more looking for positives in players performances, players who have so far this season not performed as well as we'd like.

And i agree, our home form against teams who come looking for a point is awful...but i'm of the opinion that one good result at home would change the mentality of the squad...at the moment, they're trying to hard to win...they need to relax and play.

Have to agree with Billy Mac. I found Robbie Keane's constant moaning and throwing his hands up in the air quite ridiculous and out of order. It's not a good way to act when other players he's aiming that at are out of confidence etc. FFS not even Gerrard does that as much as him.

I saw one comedy moment in particular from Dossena. Second half they hit a cross field ball. Appeared as though he didn't know whether to head or kick and went towards it and missed completely...but then made up with a block later. I cracked up

Do you think that was a subconscious reaction, trying to say to the fans look...i do care, i'm annoyed.

              But yes it was annoying.

                Haha

Probably more apt for one of our strikers

I'm not sure. I think it's just his way. He's always had this thing where something doesn't go his way he throws his arms up in the air and runs round like a drama queen. he did it at Spurs as well

Just don't think it improves confidence of players it's aimed at

You mean how Gerrard did it? Or Henry?

It's just frustration for players who see things sooner than others.

Gerrard and Henry have cut it out a lot over recent times. I've not seen Gerrard or Henry do that for a very long time

It's a pity Robbie Keane doesn't see the ball coming sooner than others or else he'd have more goals.

Difference between Henry, Gerrard and Keane? The other two are/were captains and consistent performers

Gerrard has earned the right to be a moaning ****er, as did henry.

i dont think it helps the team, but think Babel was perhaps over keen to impress the manager last night which isnt neccesarily a bad thing

                            Spurs don't count. They're rubbish

Not at Liverpool he isn't. And he's done jack all since he's been here so has no right to do what he was doing

I felt sorry for Robbie Keane last night - the service he got was terrible, Ngog and Babel gave him nothing all night while Keane was probably the most creative player on the pitch. When you couple this with the pressure he's under to start scoring, I'm not surprised his frustrations show.

Interesting that this is your contribution to the post match analysis - is this all you saw that is worth commenting on - a couple of digs toward players who have been struggling of late?

I'm not worried. I don't mean I think our home form is brilliant or will necessarily become so but it doesn't worry me for four reasons:
                                1. If people are worried our home form will cost us the league then that's a massive improvement on where we have been since 1990. So why should I worry about it when I can simply enjoy the fact we're doing better than we have in a generation?
                                2. Our home record isn't terrible and we're top of the league despite not being brilliant.
                                3. I don't see why I should worry over something I can't control.
                                4. If we win the league, great; if we don't then life goes on. We've got nothing to lose.

People seem to think if we don't win the league it would be a disaster. I want to win it as much as anyone but let's keep things in proportion or be, um, realistic.
                                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
