Once again, nobody was getting 'excited' by beating PSV.

Most of us could see that it was a pleasing result, away from home, with fringe players in the side and doing the job.

You choose to look at the negative side of it, for some reason, focussing on PSV not being Barcelona, instead of our first team not actually being our first team last night, but still winning convincingly.

Yeah, nobody was jumping up and down getting happy. We just smiled a little because we got a good result with a weak team. Look around you son, Arsenal got ****ted again, Mancs couldnt beat some danish minnows at home and Chelsea struggled to beat a romanian team. Whilst we once again showed our greatness by beating the dutch champions again and topping our group.

Its december and we are top of both compitition even though we all know the best form is yet to come. Smile a little, it wont hurt.
You don't have to pick negatives in everything and be grumpy all the time.

P.S a smile looks like this-

Yes really. People were pleased, nobody was getting particularly 'excited'.

Again, you latch onto a particular thing, whether it's true or not, and milk the (perceived) negativity as much as you can.

            It's a bit sad really.

i think what i see is true. people were getting excited, i was pleased with a number of aspects and disappointed with others. if you see that as negative thats fine i don't.

Your ability to sense the level of people's 'excitement' through plain black text on a screen, is amazing.

You're insisting on telling yourself that everyone was excited, holding street parties, popping champagne corks and the like, simply in order to give yourself a negative angle to focus on.

Put it this way, either you're a WUM or you're just pretty sad.

The emphasis with which you're clinging to this 'excited' point implies that the majority have been all excited. Otherwise, if it was just one or two, the point has less weight.

You're not necessarily sad, you're possibly just a WUM.

As for me, well i'm someone who doesnt go around desperately searching for the most tiny of tiny negative points to focus on.

I imagine life's pretty unfullfilling when all you do is look for negatives in everything you see.

And given your ridiculously negative viewpoint, i'm sure you'd have expected us to lose to Man Utd and Chelsea. So there's your 6 points back.

Do you think Chelsea should've drawn at home to Spurs and Newcastle?

Or do you think Man Utd should've drawn at home to Newcastle? Or at Everton?

Aren't you listening craig? He doesn't measure us against our rivals.

He just expects maximum points every single time. Anything less than 100% points is a travesty and should result in the sacking of Rafa
