I'm bitterly dissapointed with d results at home and annoyed at Rafa's stubborn team selections but at the same time I am fukn chuffed we are top of the league and showing some serious bottle. come on, he ain't getting sacked this season we all know that but his management today was disgraceful.

its no secret i'm not his no 1 fan but honestly if he doesn't sort it out fast we're out of the title race even though we're top now. forget the 1st half but in the second we hardly got their keeper to make a save. this is nothing new under rafa, we lack the ability to break down teams

It's all about goals mate, he's erratic, often lazy and sometimes plain stupid - but he's a threat and should've started today.

All i can cling onto is the knowledge that if we have a 2nd half of the season like we have done in previous years, we'll be champions.

God I am sorry but what a bunch of complete arseholes ... We are establishes as one of the powerhouse football sides in Europe, we win out champions lg group comfortably, we are top of the lg at Christmas breaking records along the way for BEST ****ING START IN THE PREMIERSHIP .. Our captain has just been voted most popular Premiership player ever and Torres is currently the worlds favourite striker .. we've achieved all this with a pair of Baboons running the club .. along the way we have won the Champions Lg and FA cup got to 2 Champions Lg Finals and A semi Final and now we are having a right good go at winning the LG and all you useless windbags do is complain, single people out and verablly abuse players with derogatory remarks ...The same useless feckers part timers who said .. well Lets see how we do against Man U and Chelsea and then we can see were we are ... well be beat both of them and then it was .. well lets see were we are at Christams.. well News ****ing Flash .. WE are still top of a worlds most competitive football Lg ... Get a ****ing grip and start giving the team and the manager a little bit of credit and more importantly support .. we are supposed to be on the same ****ing side ... Walk on

Great sentiment Nicey... though I think you need to put another £10 in the swear box.

I think people do have to be allowed a bit of disappointment though after our recent string of home draws against teams who really we should be beating; the second half yesterday was very frustrating and we obviously do have some deficiencies within the team - a couple of problem positions, a midfield that doesn't score goals (Gerrard excepted), a lack of teeth up front with Torres injured and so on. Having done so well in the first quarter of the season, since the Spurs game we haven't been playing like a team that is going to go on to win the title. And there were several rather strange managerial decisions made yesterday (actually reminded me a little of the Reading game around this time last year when we played a strange team/formation and lost 3-1)

HOWEVER, for the first time in many years we are still going to be going into the Christmas period properly in the race in points terms, and as you say there are still many positives and things to look forward too. It depresses me how shortsighted some people can be, calling for Rafa to be sacked for example when we're top of the league (like right now would be such a good time to be doing that, and our American friends would obviously appoint the right replacement), and saying that the title is the minimum we should expect (haha, if only it were actually that easy there days)

However, what really depresses me though is not people being upset when we mess up, or even people who feel Rafa is not the right man to bring us no. 19, its those sections of our fanbase seem to almost revel in bad results and jump on them immediately to push their agenda. And I'm not necessarily talking about the "usual suspects", at least they can be found expounding their views on here under most circumstances, its the amount of people we don't see for dust for months on end (ie when we're doing well), who are then on here within minutes of a bad result posting outright insults about our players and manager. And they somehow think that's being a supporter?

Completelty agree .. I have no problems with people who are balanced and talk sense even if I am at odds with them .. take Craig H for example .. dont agree with him on a few things but I can see where he coming with his views . but these other people with low post counts and who only ever lay the boot in and worse .. call people things like the fat waiter ... If my Manc mate called the manager of my football club that .. he would ****ing would know better .. I would throw him you out of order look and dont carry on down that road .. and you know what hes a good egg so he would have never said that in the first place .. but ****ing little cretins come in here supposedly Liverpool fans and use terms and phrases you only would expect to read in The ****ing Sun ...
