That guy seems to have been taking an awful lot for granted, if we don't win the Prem will it be a shock to anyone, does anyone believe we have a better squad than the Scum/Chav's.

**** it, i give up, as someone once said....Wallow.

What a ****en load of ****e that is. We won't be top for long and I sincerely doubt we'll be in the number 1 spot at anytime again this season.

What the **** was that by the manager? Spend 31m on two attaking players and give them a combined 10mn to try to infleunce the game when you need a goal.

Benitez has to assumer full responsability for what happned out there today. You need a goal so why don't you put on your 20m striker? Or give another attacking player, one that performed very well in midweek, more than 10mn on the pitch?

Either the man made a mistake buying them, and in that case he's guilty of squandering millions of pounds we could have used elswhere, or he's made a mistake not playing them. How the **** did Dirk Kuyt stay on the field today? Apart from one knockdown header in the first half, he was a total liabilty in attack. But whatver happens with him, howver bad he's playing, unless Benitez wants to rest him, he stays on the field. And then people wonder why Kuyt is singled out for abuse. Well it's because of the sheer favoritism towards him shown by the manager.

And don't get me started on the formation used. I think it's the best one we can use when Torres is fit but when he's not it's a total shambles. It doesnt suit Kuyt nor Keane. Every time Rafa plays Kuyt up front on his own, we look completely one paced and one dimensional in attack. Remember the MIlan final? How about the Boro and City games at the tail end of the 06/07 season? Yet Rafa still plays him alone up front, why I have no ****en clue.

And if all this isnt enough the man ****en waits until the last 15mn to put the subs on and still doesnt bother changing the formation! Or throw in another striker...What the **** happened to the manager who made positive subs early on in the season? Who replaced full backs with wingers against the Boro and Wigan? Who played with 1 centre back when Skrtel was carried off at City? Why did he show balls then and not anymore? Why did he seem hellbent on winning games then but seems to accept drawing them now?

I banged on all summer about our need for creativity in the final third. About how we still lacked quality attaking midfielders who could break 11 men defences down. While people were gushing over our futile chase for Gareth ****en Barry I kept banging on about how we look out of ideas against teams at home most of the time. Yet Rafa chose to spend 20m of our little transfer kitty on a striker instead, one he apaprently doesnt think is needed when we are chasing a game and need a goal. How can people keep living with their heads in the sand? This manager has made horrendous mistakes in the transfer market this summer and we are paying the cost of it now.

Sure we're two points clear in front of the pack (not for long though) but does anyone really think we are good enough? Does anyone really think the manager knows how to win this league? Is anyone convinced we can do it?

Not me. I've been dreaming these past few weeks that hthis may be the year but todays result and especially the manager's performance has woken me up. Not a chance this season as far as I'm concerned, in fact I'd be willing to bet we're out of it by end of January tops. And if that happens the blame solely rests ont he manager's doorsteps. He's the one that squandered money in the summer, he's the one that has failed to fill the side with enough attacking talent to break defences down and he's the one that is failing to take games by the scruff of the neck.

Totally ****in agree with this guy
Any chance you and he could swear a little more please? Cheers mate

On a positive note, Man U are playing a bit **** tonight against Tottenham. Let's hope they also keep up this form.

Although I agree that some posters are OTT with their comments, I think a Liverpool forum is an ideal place to vent our frustrations. We’ll always defend our team and manager in front of Mancs and the like but I think it should be ok to express and discuss our true feelings amongst each other. I’m more disturbed at the so called supporters who don’t seem to be that bothered at us dropping (more) points at home to weaker opposition. Comments like “C'est la vie” “that’s football” “It's not the end of the world” “Shut that door!” “What a gay day!” smack of contentment with mediocrity. We may be top of the league but dropping points at home will soon see us falling behind Chelsea and Utd. We should be able to discuss our failings and weaknesses without our support for Liverpool FC being questioned.

As for today - I think Rafa’s reverted to type. He sets his team up not to lose rather than to win.
            Another MASSIVE game

We are a great team away from home. If Rafa could just figure out the home form we'd be fine. Not sure he can though. We play 4-5-1 at home with the player with the worst first touch in the league up front. Seriously Keane must be out the door. 20m striker on the bench at home to Hull?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

So you're content with the result because we should and would have won had it not been for a ridiculous own goal?!

Bad result. 8 points dropped at home against teams we should be beating

The way I see it, if we are going to win the title now we've got to take maximum points off the top 3 this season, that is win every game against them

4-5-1 is bad tactics at home. I thought it would be close but was confident we'd win today as I thought Hull would attack us.

Bad result to be honest. CAn see the Mancs winning today

This is a tough league. No game is a certain 3 points.

They've barely beaten Sunderland last week.
