2-nil Scum.....we'll be looking over our shoulders now!El Kloppo !!
"As a player I had fifth division skills and a first division brain. The result was a second division footballer"
"How could I justify picking up my pay cheque if I stand here and say the tie is over? It would be just as stupid as saying we're going to walk all over them [in the second leg]. I can always supply silly answers to silly questions...... Yes, the tie is over, but we have to play them anyway."

or win 29.33333333333 of our remaining games by 3 goals.Originally posted by liverpool View PostYour maths is wrong, we have to win each game by four clear goals.

edit - scum are winning 2-0. winning the league now is a mathematical impossibility. we'll probably get relegated.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

Aye its been a bad weekend but I dont think the mancs will beat Wigan and Fulham (their games in hand) just a funny feeling.Originally posted by RedSpartan View Post2-nil Scum.....we'll be looking over our shoulders now!
Even of they do, destiny is still in our hands. Which cant be said for Chelsea.

Or are we just basing our entire season on one game now?Originally posted by fredo View PostCar crash of a thread from a renowned 'knee jerkist'.Will people lay off with the "drama queen" accusation every time anyone expresses doubts as to our title aspirations. Our manager is not planning like a Premiership-winning manager and our players are not playing like Premiership-winning players. We have lost points that true title aspirants would not lose - how difficult is that to understand? How's about reading what certain 'negative' posters have to say before posting your insulting "negative drama queen gayer" or patronising "Just enjoy the ride" (seriously, try watching while not smoking hash) comments? It's getting seriously irritating.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostWhat's with this defeatist attitude so many people got? Stop being so miserable and enjoy the ride.

I'm not afraid, I just know how they usually finish their season when they have to, and we haven't been able to capitalise when they have been a bit shaky.Originally posted by Greebo View PostWhat a bunch of overreacting drama queens there are here. One poor performance and you're all acting like you've lost your winning lottery ticket... and blaming everyone and their dog for it.
What happened? We had a poor game. The referee played a "homer", and several key players didnt perform - including SG, Lucas, Mascher, Carra, and Benayoun. Why wasn't something done about it then?
Rafa - for those of you blaming him and calling for his head, was absolutely livid with the players. He should be livid with himself. It wouldnt surprise me if some aren't reporting for additional training today and tomorrow. I also think that the team which crossed the white line at 5.25pm yesterday should have had more than enough quality to beat Stoke. For whatever reasons, it didnt happen. Tactics? Stoke got very fired up (assisted by some very odd referreeing decisions yes, he got some decisions wrong, that's why we didn't play well
), and we didnt perform to the best of our ability. SO WHAT!! Sometimes we all have a bad day at the office - no matter what we're paid. Get over it and get behind the team for the next 17 matches.
Who says people won't get behind the team for the next matches?
Sorry to have to point this out to people (thanks, good to have you here so we can be taught how to behave), but it really is not the end of the world. After this weekend we will still be top of the league, and with only the Mancs to play away out of the top 4. We can effectively end the blue****es' season in a period of 6 days (YES! that would be sweet), and we have the worlds best striker coming back from injury, and hopefully into form.
Let's hope he gets a start.
Lets face it, all those claiming Manure are so special that they only scraped a win there, and that they have only scored 4 in 6. Rooney & Berbatov between them have played 28 league games and scored 7 goals. Nine now actually..... Whose scared of Manure? I aint.
For all those whinging and whining today. I truly hope you hang your heads in shame when you realise just how hysterical your reactions are.
In this football club there is a saying "You'll never walk alone". Some of the posters on here really need to have a good long think about just what exactly those words and the rest of that song actually mean.
This is Liverpool. Why are you so afraid???
I usually defend Rafa and love how he has transformed us in recent years, just think he bottled it yesterday.

You are a joke.
Its very easy to come on here using the club anthem to be a brown nose, your just trying to be "politically correct" you say "SO WHAT" that we have been throwing points away like there is no shortage of them?
Well incase you have not looked at the league table since the start of the aeason, when manure win their two games in hand (which they will) they will be one point ahead of us in the league,
Most of their games are at home this half of the season, they have the advantage. people have a right to be pissed off when the team they have supported all their lives throw away points because of stupid tacical decisions by the manager.
This season above any other is our best chance to win the league, and it is been ****ed up by a string of stupid decisions, The dogs on the street can see this. When you take off your rose tinted glasses you might just see this too.
I like rafa, But he needs to learn from his mistakes, and quick.
If your happy to sit back at the end of the season and watch the mancs equal our league record and think to yourself "SO WHAT"?
Then you really need to ask yourself who the real supporter is.
