Mikel is dog ****. I have seen nothing to suggest he would get into a truly world class team like Barca or the mancs even.

"Through me the way into the suffering city,
Through me the way to the eternal pain,
Through me the way that runs among the lost.
      Justice urged on my high artificer;
      My maker was divine authority,
The highest wisdom, and the primal love.
Before me nothing but eternal things were made,
      And I endure eternally.
Abandon every hope, ye who enter here."

      And like that… he's gone

what a result. the team finally showed some balls to keep attacking up to the last minute. albeit against a team with 10 men but still....what a result.

on a side note, chelsea looked really really poor today. even with 11 men they were a shadow of even last seasons team. cant wait till we meet tham in CL semi's again. should be easy passage to the final.

Same old story. Every team has bad patches, even league winning ones. Maybe we've blown it maybe we haven't, let's all just get behind the team and whatever will be will be.

Good result, but for me any money Rafa gets for Keane has to be spent on a right winger.
I'm not doubting Kuyt effort, but as an attacking force I'd rather see Benny or Babel there.
I make no apologies, this is me

                  true.

but when was the last time you seen chelsea take 74 mins to get a shot in at an opponents goal? even we were'nt that bad in 2005. they'll need to get their act together soon what with villa hitting some real form. always thought the big four would be "breached" this year but my bet was the arsenal.......not so sure now.

really can't see keane leaving in january. he'll be pissed off but he'll want to see out the year for that league winners medal

Still think Villa will fall away. Especially if Arsenal sign Arshavin.

I thought it was clever of Rafa to leave him on as we had to weather an upturn in Chelski's performance following the red card. Having survived that we were free to press on as we had been doing before the sending off, (which did us no favours as Chelski played with more fire in the 15 mins following it than they had in the 15 mins before it) when we were dominating the game. The sending off merely delayed our winning the game and I feared might even galvanise Chelski into upping their game and getting a draw, that they wouldn't otherwise have got, as I seem to remember happened against the Arse earlier this season? Also gave them something to moan about and in my book took a bit of an edge off, as I will now have to defend the honour of our victory at work tomorrow - stupid ass Riley.

Couldnt agree more is work ethic is second to none but his delivery from the right is shocking.cant blame him though he's not a winger/RM he just works so damm hard and out of position he dont moan and groan about it just gets on with it but after last 2 displays by benni I think change is ready

I think by and large Dirk does a great job for us on the right against the better teams. Against weaker opposition, I'd sooner see Benayoun at there as he clearly offers more of an attacking threat.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I thought Mike Riley had his best 88 mins for us in a long time.

Result was great, the bonus was Rafa making sensible substitutions.
