Out of interest, who did they play in them games?
      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Man Utd's last 7 gams last season

        Aston Villa (H) W 4-0
        Middlesborough (A) D 2-2
        Arsenal (H) W 2-1
        Blackburn (A) D 1-1
        Chelsea (A) L 1-2
        West Ham (H) W 4-1
        Wigan (A) W 2-0

So it was quite a difficult run in last year but they dropped points against teams you might expect them to beat
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

they were pretty much nailed on for the title for lat few months from what i recall,Chelsea made it vaguely interesting towards the end......but hardly exerted pressure.

When was the last time Scum were actually under this much pressure at the top of the league?

Werent the Chavs a similar distance behind them as we are now?

              after 33 games

3pts behind and arsenal were 6pts behind, Scum had massive superior goal difference....

So actually Chelsea were in a better position!!

I think the difference between this year and last is the brand of football they are playing and how they are winning games. Last year they seemed to brush teams aside and score a lot of goals but this year their performances have been substandard and they are grinding out a lot of 1-0 wins. If you attack them with pace they are beatable. Spurs for all their frailties early in the season seem to have tightened up at the back and in Lennon they have pace that could hurt united. This is a game I think united might struggle in.
                  Dare we believe

Another well deserved victory for United again today.

I’ve had my doubts about Webb all season, and they’ve been proved right.
His performance today has to be analysed by the the FA and he should have a lot to answer for.

                    1. What excuse can he give for the penalty?

                    2. Why did he put the whistle to his mouth when Rafael climbed all over Modric at the start of the second goal, then not blow?

                    3. Why did he let so many obvious bookings go?

Sick as a dog. Didn’t get carried away at 2-0 and expected United to claw it back by some injustice, but just didn’t expect it to be so blatant. Revolting.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

If the FA does not relegate Webb to 2nd division, then it is corrupted.

The obvious is becoming clear anyway!!!

How can teams expect to be treated fairly at OT with refereeing like that? RB was right -our chances of just winning the league have diminished at the hand of that c*nt. He should apologise.

Instead he's got the cup final, the show piece fixture in the football league calendar.

Do people really think you can fluke a 38-game league campaign? Dear lord.
I thought it was rigged for them?
