In the first half it was Lennon and Corluka v Nani and Evra, a contest which Spurs were well on top. Nani was poor going forward adn Evra was continually left dealing with the two of them on his own as Nani offered nothing at the back either. Both Spurs goals came from this flank.
At half time Tevez comes on for Nani and Rooney reverts to LW.
Mancs get the luck of the penalty and it's 2-1. After that it's a master class from Rooney, who grabs the game by the scruff of the neck. He scores two and has a hand in the other two with some sensational crossing.
However, his master class was also a terrible performance from Corluka, who stands off him, or vacates the RB spot depending on how he was feeling. Worst display of defending I've seen this year by a full back, he may as well have not been on the pitch. Dossena's earlier displays looked to have the class and composure of Maldini compared to him.
Gomes could also be questioned strongly for the second goal, whilst King was marking thin air for the fourth.
