For me I don't see what the fuss is about - he showed yesterday exactly how he felt about loosing out on the title race. Passion comes to mind.

I know how i felt when Arsenal failed to win the game, yet i know it will come soon.
Imagine a player comming to the end of their carrer.

Passion yes, but there's also a lot to be said about team unity.

I dont advocate turning on your own, certainly not physically, which is what it was bordering on, but if it has to happen, it needs to stay behind closed doors.

it was the heat of the moment so how do you take it behind close doors. And who's to say it hasn't already been addressed behind doors.

It might well have been addressed. The point was though, you dont let it spill out in public like that. Heat of the moment, ok - but by that token someone could lamp a teammate and justify it by saying it was in the heat of the moment. Not for me.

the thing is heat of the moment stuff will spill out in public from time to time, be it on the pitch, the training ground, the night club.
24 hours after man u beat us to the PL I don't see the issue.
No team will get on 100%.

Stuff we've seen ealier in the year with "f off" comments to being substituted are worse IMO

his book is full of admissions he is a very arrogant person, from playing school football, to the training ground, to his england career and to his liverpool career. He states on more than a few occasions how he thinks he's better than what people give him credit for, and better than the players around him

Having faith in your own abilities, and feeling under-rated is not the same as cocky...cockiness is how you portray yourself...self-belief is different.

Have to agree with you mate. But tbf would he be as good a player he is without the cockyness? Personally i dont think so.

Was very impressed with the way that Alonso stepped in an sorted it out. He's captain material for sure.

He generally IS better than people give him credit for and most of the players around him. I still dont see evidence of arrogance or being a gob****e.

                      Try again.

Daft. I don't think Arbeloa is good enough first team Liverpool regular material, but I equally dont think he deserved Carra's actions. I don't see a solution to this other than Arbeloa moving. The seed has been planted and that was pure rage in Carra's face, that will surface again with Arbeloa's next moment of slackness.

Dan Agger had strong words with Jamie too.

                          Good to see.

So having read his book you dont think he comes across as arrogant? Even when he admits it himself?

If anyone has a right to give a team mate a public bollocking its Carra. If Arbeloa had taken it on the chin and not reacted like a toddler then nobody would have batted an eyelid. Get 400 games under your belt son before trying to slap a proper LFC legend.

I can't agree with this Carra bashing. He was clearly pissed off at waking up to see Slur Alex's grinning purple face in all the papers and was desperate to keep a clean sheet. Nowt wrong with that.
