I've walked it loads of times. Takes less than 45mins if you pick up a good pace.

Walking it is fine if you have the foggiest where you're going. I dont. Cab = about £4, loose change. Cab it is.

You may even be able to share a cab with some other fella in a red shirt. I reckon there may be a few of them about!

or are you coming up with "the reason I had to leave early" excuse already.

I dont think i've ever left early in my life. It's usually me and Dirk left behind, doing our little applause thing

From my experience getting the bus if you're in a hurry is a bad idea, it's usually quicker to walk (due to road closures around the ground, and vast numbers of people and traffic down the road)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

i've never really had an issue with getting a cab from the ground - usually walk towards town for about 5-10 mins and wave one down -

It's risky though. Get the later train, it's only an hour and there is nothing more frustrating than looking for a cab that never comes knowing you have a tain to catch.

walk, look at a map before and you'll be fine, if you book one to meet you at the arkles you're already in the opposite direction

or book a later train as suggested

Walk is the best option I reckon. If you see a cab you can flag on the way, that seems sensible too, as I'm sure I've seen some when I've walked.

Buses don't move until about 5.30.
                            Oh I don't know.

Peg it down to Scotland Rd, there's always loads of cabs coming up to get people after the footy. I agree with Shags though, you can easily walk back to town in time.

Yes but that would leave you much further from Lime Street if you failed to get a taxi/bus.

In my experience it's a much better idea to walk the Scotland Road route. It's a piece of cake to walk to Lime Street in less than 45 minutes
