I've walked it loads of times. Takes less than 45mins if you pick up a good pace.

You may even be able to share a cab with some other fella in a red shirt. I reckon there may be a few of them about!Originally posted by Craig_H View PostWalking it is fine if you have the foggiest where you're going. I dont. Cab = about £4, loose change. Cab it is.

or are you coming up with "the reason I had to leave early" excuse already.Last edited by Shanks; 14-07-09, 09:36 PM.

I dont think i've ever left early in my life. It's usually me and Dirk left behind, doing our little applause thing

From my experience getting the bus if you're in a hurry is a bad idea, it's usually quicker to walk (due to road closures around the ground, and vast numbers of people and traffic down the road)Originally posted by Charly View PostBus?The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yes but that would leave you much further from Lime Street if you failed to get a taxi/bus.Originally posted by wavydavy View PostI'd start walking the other way TBH. Along Oakfield Rd and either up Breck Road or straight along Belmont. Taxis do tend to avoid the area for a bit after games so you probably won't get one until Rocky Lane. Defo doable though.
In my experience it's a much better idea to walk the Scotland Road route. It's a piece of cake to walk to Lime Street in less than 45 minutes
