Bloody press go on there annual witch hunt for managers at the start of each season and when one of them gets the boot such as the Excellent Megson they pull the Wooe Chairmen are too quick to fire managers line when they can take most of the credit in many occasions. The ****ing hordes of ghomless gob****es who lap up there drivel each week start banging the drum to which ever beat they are told, zonal marking does not work, rafa rotates too much, stevie g on the right.

I read posts on this website and i cant believe my eyes half the time, well I can have so many years. I talk to my mate a Manc about some of the ****e i read on here and he tells me its the same on Redcafe bunch of ****ing morons most of the time thats why he does not bother going online.

There just seems to be a real lack of loyality or support for the team and most of the players unless there names are Gerrard and Torres. For the most part the majority of people have to lead to the ****ing water on issues such as Benny, Carra at CB, Ngog, Insua ... They expect a team full of superstars and have no appreciation for what players contribute to the overall team unless it is a subtle as a ****ing Jack Hammer .. and they are all the first in line to get stuck in when a bad result happens but when we win a game this place is so ****ing quiet you could hear a ****ing goldfish fart
If I were you, I'd throw a melodramatic hissy-fit and leave the site for good, only to come back for a while, and then leave again, and... repeat ad infinitum.

Insua with Agger is more sound than Insua and ANO. Insua with Riera in front of him will be even more so IMO.

ALL players have weaknesses, younger ones more so, it's about how you accommodate them. We've managed it with Carragher's lack of pace and inability to defend high up the pitch all these years, so let's extend the courtesy of consideration to Insua and the manager while they work on getting the balance right and completing Insua's education.

If you've watched Insua since he joined us you will know he has improved year on year and I haven't seen that stop this season.

Get used to knowing what it's like to bring youngsters through, we may be seeing a lot more of it in the near future.

Its a shame you don't post more often!

I think the comparison with Cole is a very fair one. The Cole of 9 years ago that is, when he was Insua's age and could not defend for toffee. Defensively he was far worse than Insua. Both positionally and one on one.

I'm happy with the way this thread is progressing.

agree in part about bandwagon-jumping etc but you and fredo are starting to come across like a type of fan you really only find on the internet as well - a type d if you like - who adopt a stance of internet cheerleading and berate posters who don't toe the line you want them to. yeah there's posters who appear to be on a windup and overreact etc - welcome to humans.

there's lots of us that are concerned that rafa may not turn this around and that the villa win was not a turning point and that insua's defensive frailties may not be solved and that the players have gone off rafa and that rafa's obsessively detailed approach may not get the best out of players and that the second half of last season was a good run of form but no more than that and we can't seem to repeat it for all the reasons that are discussed here.

and when we play we're out of our seats snd screaming at the ref/players/telly/pets and we're gutted when we lose and elated when we win and when we talk to our lfc supporting friends we get the same opinions we get on here but one thing i don't have in the real non-internet forum world is another fan trying to whip up some sort of superfandom and complaining that the rest of us haven't a ****in clue.

People on the internet are often aggravating, its teh rules don't ya know. The trick is ignoring the people you can't be civil to, and engaging in what you find to be interesting discussion instead with those you can be. Life would be very boring if everyone agreed about everything, I can see why some of the hair-pulling melodrama we see on here from time to time gets a rise out of some others, but then people use sites like this to vent their frustrations either about the team (or about their fellow fans), and some of that has to be allowed for. We all just need to try not to go too overboard too often, and give our fellow fans just a little bit of leeway from time to time, or else the whole thing becomes far too stressful. And we get enough stress when the team is on the pitch. we can do without creating too much more for ourselves the rest of the time

Spot on, I am guilty of this more than most but more and more i just cant be arsed ... not complaining I mean that in a good way. Previously it would be like a red flag to a bull now i just think i cant be bothered, nothing ever gets resolved seldom do people change there minds so why try an convince them.

I am firmly in the Insua is potentially worldclass camp, i like what I have seen of him thus far and i am more than happy with him on the team sheet. Like i have said before i worry more when Glen is starting as i feel he makes more costly mistakes. That said, when this "NEW BACK 4" get use to playing with each other ... Wow ... Glen Johnson, Carra/ Skirtel, Agger, Insua .. has huge potential

I think he has had a stop start stop start run of games ..with a consistent run of games under his belt he would be back to his awesome self ...

I would like to see Carra been used at RB with skirtel and agger in the middle and Glen on the right now and then
