Ngog is 20, about 6 months younger, but fair enough. I just don't accept that his performances are at the level of an up and coming defender of note. There are a thousand of him at clubs up and down the country. There are no signs of potential that make him stand out imo. He can pass a bit and hit hopeful crosses. Takes far more than that.

Fair enough. I think we saw enough in those performances initially for the reserves and then for the first team when he first broke through. It's been a gradual decline but I think there are some valid reasons for that. I think he takes up great attacking positions, makes good angles, whips a good cross in and is generally very comfortable going forward. Defensively he looks piss poor at the moment but much of it can be worked on and will improve with a bit more belief and confidence. His lack of pace is the biggest worry for me, along with his inability to turn quicker than an oil tanker.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

              Absolutely spot on!

The trouble is there no cover for him!

He isn't very good at defending and he rarely shows anything going forward. Not a good player. We need better if we're going to compete.

I agree he's not very good at the moment, but hes young enough to develop into a good player. Deserves another season or two.

I'd have him as backup. I don't think he is good enough to be consistently in our first XI.

for a young lad he is to slow he needs to loose a bit of weight and runs himself into trouble

I know the lad is only young but full back is a position were any weaknesses get exposed. The 2 worst weaknesses being lack of pace and lack of positioning. Unfortunately our Insua has both in spades.

Despite this, I do see some good in the lad, especially going forward but he needs a break for now before any confidence he has left implodes.

truth is insua is not anywhere near good enough. he is overweight, very poor positional wise and slower than a constipated man having a ****. as much as i hate saying it though, without fabio being fit were stuck with him untill summer when hopefully whoever is in charge will recruit a new left back.

I'm afraid I'm through with Insua.... he's cost us terribly for much of the season.
