We showed them far too much respect. We should have attacked them rather than play 2 defensive mids and let them attack us.

    For once Rafa messed up

I have some concerns about Drogba on sunday. He could batter us the way we are defending

Thats one of the most silly things i've ever read on here, but yes, tonight we were ****e. Not a surprise, we often are in the group stages. Though it'd be better if we got qualification done then went ****e for the last group games.

We're going to struggle now and the reason I say that is there's so much focus and pressure on our defence and Lucas at the moment, and neither seem to cope well with it. There will be so much pressure on them for the Lyon game that I think they'll buckle.

Gerrard has been pretty poor the last couple of games too.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

          I think we'll gub Chavski.

They've lost Cech and possibly Cashley. If Cashley is out then Kuyt/Johnson will destroy then down the right

Yes and with the way Chelsea are defending it could 4-4.

Think Cashley will be playing tomorrow night according to one of the papers today

We were bloody awful. Second half they woke up a bit, but simply not good enough. We need to smash this lot at Anfield and get a couple of good results against Lyon.

Bring on the chav scum! Torres better be in the mood to rip Tewwy a new one

Hopefully when he strings 5 or 6 consecutive good cameos together.

This was never a "must win" match. And with Chelsea at the weekend, it was pretty clear Rafa had accepted the result at half time and decided to prioritize. Aurelio got some valuable minutes under his belt and Riera got a rest.

For once? That kind of characteristic has been present more often than not during his tenure. It pretty much disappeared last season mind, and its return tonight is most unpleasant to see.

If he'd done that, Torres and Gerrard wouldnt have played 90 minutes.

why? our players are technically inferior to a lot of other teams, just look at our passing, first touch etc. and it's my opinion we don't have what it takes to win the CL this year, but we'll do very well in the premiership.

That could be fun but we really need to win

A win would be awesome, but i'd be very satisfied with a point.
