I sat and watched the game with my brother yesterday and we both monitored the two different styes of play. A few points came to light, none of which is news to anybody following Liverpool.
The amount of times that Carra (most guilty) and other defenders just hoof the ball long for Torres to chase is terrible. Arsenal always played the ball out of defence and only hoof when in danger. We had 5 midfielders yesterday but the urge to get the ball into their area overode any instinct to play the ball to feet. The result was normally straight to an Arsenal player.
The other main point we noticed was heading, so many times a Liverpool player would head the ball out, when not under any pressure, straight to a Gooner. Why the **** can they not bring it under control and then pass to another Red.
Sooo dam frustrating.
