Parr-zee, sorry to say this mate, but as you're criticising me for having a limited football knowledge I'll have to say that you're totally clueless at it. Rafa is a cautious manager? Well facts speaks against that as we've been the highest scorers last season.

And the way we play the game further proves that you're clueless. At our best we dominate teams, control games, puts teams under so much pressure that they normally can't get out of their own half.

Rafa is a glaringly cautious manager - I can't believe you can't see it. We play 2 defensive midfielders refardless of who we play against, we have 11 men defending set-peices (even if we need a goal), and whenever we go a goal up, we take our foot off the gas and try to protect it rather than continuing to dominate teams.

One thing i will agree with you on, is that when we are at our best (i.e. playing with a high tempo) we are dominant. Its just that we only seem to play this way in big games at Anfield. And when we get a goal, we will then try to protect it.

Frustrating thing is that when we actually look to play soem pass and move we are pretty decent, but as soon as players are under pressure they resort to the hoof.

Makes me ****ing sick when I hear the Arse fans singing Liverpool Hoof the ball because that used to be what they did. I always thought the Liverpool way was to play to feet and pass and move, but Houllier destroyed that and whilst Rafa is trying to get it out of the system it still lingers.

That's the thing, they can pass the ball and at times do it very well but just not enough.

I've lost count of the amount of times Lucas turns and plays it back, actually come to think of it they all do. The players are good enough to turn, have a look and advance with the ball. Agger seems to be the only one that does it in our team and he's a defender!!

I know it's easy for us to say as we are watching it from a camera high above however it is so simple it really is.

I think you're harsh. We normally play that way when we're low on confidence. Arsenal don't know any other way of playing and when the going gets tough, they normally don't have a plan B.

I don't think it's anywhere near as bad man. Time is a great healer and it's easy to forget just how suicide-inducing those latter Houllier days were. The football was as bad as it gets.

We had two great players at the time, now we have four or five.

Also, when we play well there's no-one more thrilling. We can mix it up, pass it with the best of 'em, and play fast, attacking, cut-throat football.

Sadly we don't seem capable of that anymore and something has gone horribly wrong.

What annoys just as much as hoofing is the heading. So often we head out of defence straight to an opponant, why????. If under pressure, yes, it is get rid time but often the defender has nobody for miles around him, why doesnt he use his chest, bring it under control and pass the ****ing thing.

We shouldnt be clearing our lines if we are not being pressed. Build from the back like we used to with Hansen and co.

They are laughably precious and sanctimonious about their beloved pretty football. Anyone would think they invented it and were built on foundations of pass and move. You'd need a pretty short memory if you can't remember their dire, DIRE football under George Graham.

They wheel that chant out at the most ludicrous of times - a goalkeeper's clearance , a 20 yard ball off the floor....basically any time the ball leaves the ground. I remember once Alonso spraying a delightful 50 yard cross-field ball against them and they started singing it.

I'm as harsh as anyone on this Liverpool side(always try to be honest) but last season i don't think we hoofed the ball an awful lot. In fact last season we probably played our best football in many, many years. As a result we were the highest scorers in the premiership glat season.

Well no, I mean last season in general. Obviously we were particularly impressive from about March onwards but I've seen people posting rubbish like "we were **** all last season too, the 10 game run was an anomaly".

Hello???? We got 86 points last season. You don't get 86 points for 10 or so great performances.
