So basically, every win anyone ever has, is lucky because they only won because they took their chances and scored more goals than the opposition. Luckily.

Like every goal that's ever gone in through the keepers legs, or that the keeper nearly got a hand to, or if a defender gets his foot to within 12inches of the ball... lucky goals ?

I don't understand the logic of Kuyts goal being lucky just because a defender had his foot near it but did'nt stop it, that's just football, happens all the time, it's not lucky..it's the nature of a game with often very thin margins between winning and losing, scoring or missing.

      Our second goal though....that's lucky.

So you've never labelled any team beating another team as 'lucky' before. Every win was 100% justified and deserved? Ok at least I know how you stand when it comes to luck in games.

Well I'm not going to argue with you on what you consider lucky. But dont tell me how to think. Just because you dont think it was a slightly more fortunate win doesnt make your view point pure fact and every other view wrong. I give you my opinions and you backhand them quite rudely. Your version, ball went in, deserved win. And it stops there.

Ok I'm probably looking at the game from a different view point and explaining it wrongly. I'll take a step back then

I think it is fair to say the second goal was a bit lucky but then again you could say Bolton were unlucky that Ngog scuffed his shot onto the bar when it was seemingly easier to score.

I think if you analyse the balance of attempts at goal we were more than good value for our 2-0 scoreline

Perhaps 3-1 would have been a fairer reflection

I tend to have some sympathy for what Vlahaka is trying to say in this thread. I thought we looked excellent after Lucas came on, but were pretty average before that and on another day could have found ourselves behind and struggling. Basically, I think we have played slightly better before and still lost matches, yet today we got the three points and it ended up pretty comfortable. That’s just football.

It’s definitely a step in the right direction though.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

There's not an ounce of any negative poster (who's genuinely a Red) that doesnt want the negative viewpoints to be proved wrong.
Disagree. A lot of fans would rather we had a terrible end to the season so Rafa got the boot and we could get Jose Messiah in.

And that's fair enough. Entitled to their opinions.

In a way I would like rafa to go because he's a nice guy and the flak is only going to get worse and worse as the investment doesn't come. He doesn't deserve that flak.

Having a good end to the season and turning things around, are different issues though.

If people want Rafa out, it'd be because they dont think he'll succeed in achieving what they want him to achieve, for & with Liverpool FC.

If turning things around equates to achieving those things, then of course they want him to do so.

Only people with a personal issue against Rafa, would be different. And they're not Liverpool fans IMO.

We deserved to win last night, we dominated Bolton and played some excellent football at times. The confidence is coming back to our team slowly, yet we're still some way from our best.

It's a bit like me coming out and saying we have played brilliantly against Wolves. Stop taking the piss mate.
I really dont think he watched the same game, he doesnt know when we scored or how the goals went. Maybe watching some other team in Red I cant be sure but he doesnt seem to remember the match that well.

I got 1 detail wrong and it was how the ball bounced back to Kuyt because in my time zones I watch these games at the stupid early hours of the morning. Now questioning my support for the team because I dont have a massive orgasm over our playstyle, you can just **** off.

You said we scored both goals in the second half then didnt know how the goals went in. Sorry when someone makes that amount of mistakes on the only 2 goals scored then I wonder if they watched the match.
