This site is just plain anti-SOS for some reason. Dunno why that is, at least they're actually doing something. Maybe some people envy that.

How many times do you need people to tell you why?Originally posted by wavydavy View PostThis site is just plain anti-SOS for some reason. Dunno why that is, at least they're actually doing something. Maybe some people envy that.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Sure, but what are they advertising though? Their own organisation imo. As with all unions or activist movements, problems arrise when it starts to exist for it's own sake rather than the reasons stated at the outset.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostIt's doing the job though eh, we've already seen it and we haven't even driven past.
Wouldn't surprise me if lfc hadn't used similar boards to advertise in the past either, sos are hardly going to be up in lights on Picadilly Circus.

Debt, lies, and a cowboy type style of ownership, as far as i can see anyway.Originally posted by Operation View PostSure, but what are they advertising though? Their own organisation imo. You mean this site is full of people able to think for themselves, to form opinions and not to be forced into following what is essentially a party line like you are made to do on other sites? Try posting an anti-SOS post on RAWK and watch as 500 devotees tear you limb from limb. Thank **** this site isn't like that, and a rational discussion can take place.

Strange question, we all know if we like things like...say a Mars bar, but they still advertise them, it's not about just letting people know, it's about keeping up the pressure, and letting the owners know sos won't go away....the ad is designed to make people think about the subject...like all ads. . etc etc.Originally posted by Operation View PostSo there are people in Liverpool walking and driving around oblivious to issues with our owners?

Ok – i disagree with this, - The site, is not pro this or against that or anything. We just allow everyone to express their opinions and debate with other fans providing it’s in reason and the toys don’t get thrown out the pram. The way I see it is, a lot of the other sites out there come across as so ‘pro’ SOS, that anyone who dares disagree, gets slated for it. – Here we just allow people to make their own minds up and decide, debate etc for themselves.Originally posted by wavydavy View PostThis site is just plain anti-SOS for some reason. As a result, it prob comes across as anti-sos, because it’s one of the few places you can say “i disagree with sos because of such and such,” without then being labelled as not being a ‘proper red’. As a result, it seems most people express negative opinions here.
The second part of your post, almost sums it up for me. Just because they are ‘doing something’ – doesn’t mean they are doing the right thing or that everyone should agree with it. The fact that you would think people envy SOS baffles me......in what way?
I think it’s fair to say – if i sat on the fence, and acted as neutral on the topic as possible – in general the way most posts on here come across regarding sos are more along the lines off
The so called Anti sos stance - “fair play for them for trying to do something, but they have made a mess of this, or i disagree with that, or this is a bit of **** up or i don’t like the way they have done this, etc etc etc”
And the only pro sos arguement seems to be “ sos are amazing cause they are the only people trying to make a difference and if you don’t agree with them do one”
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Whether SOS methods/goals are right or wrong is always going to be debated, the one thing they need to do is be more savvy in the way they get the message across.
Like it or not Utds yellow and green scarves and shirts are getting noticed and people do know what they stand for, SOS havent come close to that yet.
