Thanjk you.

i hope you understand what we are trying to achieve here. We would be better served with everyone on board
You need to think a little more about how you come across.
Ultimately the image of an aggressive bully-boy union is going to create resentment and close avenues of communication, which in the end wont help anyone.
hi mate
believe it or not i'm struggling myself ! the feelers are out so i'll have to sweat ... doing what i do gets you a seat on the bus ..thats it.. and the hassle of 50 mildly drunken young uns , but i love it and feel honoured to serve a just cause ... hope you lads can spread the good word ,we feel the tide is turning
i can't see were your coming from mate, but i'll try and answer
some want to call us unproffesional mate and i don't know how you define that .... i'm a time served carpenter so have never had to deal with recruitment and clerical issues before .... i only deal in honesty ... the committee are all similar in that respect that we all have varying types of jobs
sometimes people lose sight that we are a voluntary organisation of 2 years and were learning all the time on every front .... there is a common denominator amongst us though and thats our unity in our struggles,
you just can't buy that
hope that answers your question shanks
roy
p.s. come to a meeting and i'll gladly give you as much of my time as you need
I'm still disgusted over the whole christmas party munich singing. There wasnt like 1 or 2 of them doing it, it was like the entire room almost, big banner in the back etc. Sickened me to my stomach. A ponsy banner designed by a 12 year old isnt going to make me forget that. The Americans arent going anywhere unless they get a good deal offered to them, whether SOS or someone else camp at their doorstep crying every day, this isnt going to change anything. SOS should be doing something more constructive like using their time and money to actually help people in some way, charity work etc. Not this rubbish.

To be honest I'd always kept an open mind on SOS. They can't be knocked for at least trying to take action rather than just sitting around doing nothing. I admire their intentions, but that incident at the Christmas party was a ****ing embarrassment. How do they expect to be taken seriously after that? Liverpool fans have fought for justice for years, fought for perceptions over Hillsborough, Heysel and us as a whole to be changed. It's an ongoing battle, and the events in Athens set us back a bit. The chanting at that bash just completely undermined every one of us who's tried to set the record straight.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

we do a lot of charity work friend... look us up or get to know a little bit about us on our website [it costs nothing] ...kids training in the football community, hillsborough justice campaign, anne williams hope for hillsborough, michael shields legal campaign, rhys jones memorial fund ,redevolpment and regeneration of L4 which is one of the most deprived areas in the UK and there will be more , i can assure you of that ... the chrimbo parties gone mate ... let it go or come to a meeting and i'll engage you myself personally on events that transpired that night [i'm not prepared to debate it all over a forum again] ...
anyway thanks for having me and if i've been made to feel welcome then i'll certainly be back

That's a strange comment, even if you aren't / weren't made to feel welcome if you really believed in your cause and thought you could make a difference you would be on here regularly putting across your points and trying to convince some of the doubters (including me)
Saying you'll only come back if people are nice to you is part of the attitude me and others find offensive.
I admire the SOS intentions and want the Americans gone but only if the club is left in a stronger, better position.
Currently I think SOS are a union for unions sake just to cause hassle and embarrassment and to pump up your own ego's.
If you can convince me otherwise I will apologise, apply to join and contribute any way I can but currently you speak for SOS members not all Liverpool fans as you claim.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

some very good points there birdman
firstly, on the welcome again comment , i am after all a newby on here so i was just trying to gauge feeling .... you've flushed me out
secondly, i'm glad your intentions are similar ... thats half the battle ... the same philosophy
thirdly, and this is most importantly , whats been started here has gone way beyond any stratosphere which we envisaged when the wheels went in motion after the klinsmann debacle ... we didn't have a crystal ball mate and to that end the profile of the union has gone through the roof ,certainly in the media's eyes ... i can only tell you from my personal experiences that the good folk who are actively involved are there for the love of a longlife obsession .... and thats to get liverpool back to were it belongs and challenging primarily on the pitch as well as off it [though the 2 of course go hand in hand]
and lastly no apologies should ever be needed ... if your perceptions change then you'd be welcome with open arms ... its your union , you can vote ,make proposals ,put your self forward for the committee[with a small manifesto] at the AGM ,start a local branch and generally become involved as much or little as you want ,its a democratic organisation with transparancy ,and thats the key word ... anyone is welcome with the right intentions [i'm alluding to other right wing extremist groups there] but other than that ,what you see is what you basically get ...

I just don't think you are doing it the right way, the Purslow affair was another case in point. All the club's dirty linen was being thrown out for everyone to see.
It seems to me you are not working 'with the club' but hold a rather aggressive and negative stance towards it, rather than pursuing more constructive avenues.
SOS reminds me of far left unionists. And you're not representative of the majority of LFC fans, who can be found the world over.
