Even Europa League qualification next year can't be taken for granted - i think we'll be lucky to get 6th - depressing as ****.

We're not good enough to qualify for Europe next year.

4th well and truly 100% gone now, what a nightmare.

I'd prefer us to miss out on the Europa League and do the league and fa cup double next season.

Money wise, it's not a real option.

Depressing, and we'll get it by finishing 7th too.

An entire season of Sunday/Monday games. **** that.

Blessing in disguise? No European hangovers, squad rotation minimised, less selection and injury headaches. Like it or not our squad depth isn't the best and this could really help us out

This has been a truly depressing season.

I reckon we'll finish seventh if we keep going like this.

You do realize there is a serious threat that Torres will be sold, right.

Call me an optimist (or a prick if you want ) but I think it might help us to focus on the prem, also I'd like to think that between the Carling cup and the early stages of the Europa League that players like Pacheco and Kelly can get some quality playing time........maybe even Aquilani, but that might be pushing it a bit.

I wonder if Rafa might think about leaving us cos he wants Champions League football?

I love the feeble attempt at being positive, nice try.

It is better than nothing. We will get what we deserve this season and if that is Uefa cup football next season then so be it. Rafa needs to take a good hard look at himself and the mistakes he has made this season.

No CL football next season will force him to go for the league.

If Spurs get to the FA Cup final, I am right in thinking there'll be 3 Europa league places for 5th to 7th in the league? (5th which is always for league, a place that should have gone to Carling Cup but Man Utd winning mean that goes to the league, and FA Cup place)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We don't have the players or money for more...

It's not likely to help us financially is it?
