Thanjk you.

if im honest fourth was gone a long time ago, and its only because of recent defeats suffered by spurs and city that have given us false hope.
The simple truth is we havent been good enough to get back into the champions league and that's it.
Whether we the point the finger at the owners, rafa or the players at the end of the day we just have been pretty **** all season and we dont deserve it.
I just dont know where we go from here as a club.

we have gone from 2nd to 7th,6th or 5th [depending on were we finish this season] with roughly the same players minus Alonso and Arbeloa ......this season there has been no passion/commitment or desire from the players and some of the football has been rubbish ......only on a handfull of games have we shown last seasons form

Barclays Premier League West Ham v Man City, 15:00
From these games they need a maximum of 7 points to mathematically get us out of the race.
Of the 5 you would only say that west ham is winable, the rest could easily go against them.
Spurs also have a very difficult run in and we just have to keep going. Stanger things have happened and although nearly impossible its still on.
Whether we have the balls to go out and win all our remaining games is another matter and if Torres is out for the rest of the season then unless rafa changes the system and goes all out for the wins then its not going to matter.

The manc derby could go either way and i wouldnt be surprised if City won it if Rooney's out. They'll beat both Villa and Spurs at home, and probably get a win at WHU.

I like your optimism, but I don't share it at all and tbh. we won't get the necessary points ourselves, so city will most likely need less than 7 points in those games. Their real challenge right now is tottenham.
I don't see us finishing higher than 6th or 7th and tbh.

unless rafa lets go of his defensive thoughts we wont be anywhere near winning 12 points.
Tottenham have an equally difficult run in and although its still there to be had, i cant see us doing anything this year. If we finish 5th it will be a miracle.

He doesn't run at players. Doesn't make thunderous challenges. Doesn't shoot from distance. And most telling of all, he doesn't look like he cares.
He didn't do much of this last year either. He scored goals but none of the long rangers he used to. He was scoring the goals that a real link player, playing off of Torres should/would have been getting. Thus leaving Gerrard to play centrally getting in tackles and being able to influence games.
When he plays so far forwards he's always on the edge of the game. He can't influence or change the tempo. I think he must be carrying an injury to some extent. I personally hate seeing the player he is now. I much preferred the aggressive, tackles flying, long range shooting player of old. Perhaps his body has tired of this and he can only play the forward role?
Who knows. If he's still **** next year then we'll have a better idea.
