Maybe going as far as I suggest MrMichael WOULDN'T be beneficial - but I wasn't suggesting ALL those ideas at once - Just putting them out as a sort of 'ideas forum' as it were. For others to discuss and mull over - Maybe put into action. The ones I REALLY like were the ideas of using ex-players as spokespeople to attack them in the media and going after Hicks/Gillette sponsors/business partners Who COULD be cowed into leaving him by a show of force from enough fans - What's the first thing an image conscious business/person (ESPecially from the US where most of said backers are from which is the land of the image) going to do If they're threatened with HUGE damage to their image/business by a VAST group (LFC fans)? They'll do anything they can to prevent it no? So to prevent us losing Hicks & Gillette's partners/backing businesses HUGE swathes of business/getting TONS of bad publicity we should make the price them dropping H & G and ANY support they have for them - Financial or otherwise. THAT is the idea I really liked.

I discussed going after the website only as someone else did though it WOULD be good if it happened at the same time as a boycott - the Chaos it would cause would have to be seen to be believed. And I think the banks COULD be jolted into FORCING a sale quicker - I think they're being as lethargic as the twin horrors for a reason here and I THINK that reason has a lot to do with the interest we pay them. A DOS attack which is retarded would impact them for the maximum time of a few hours, so cross that off your list, put your plan together with specific tasks and action items, then pop back and deliver something without the crumpled up tissues next to the bed.

This is your idea and your plan, it is you that needs to deliver the detail. You are making a lot of assumptions and general comments without putting any meat onto the bone. I suggest you spend this weekend putting a plan together and returning on Monday with it.

The first post was called a 'battle plan' but was more an ideas forum - If you want a bullet pointed/action listed plan - then I will TRY to endeavor to provide you with one if you so wish. My little boy's not very well at the moment so I Might be spending a lot of time away from here but when I'm on here I'll do my best to give you such a plan. It's the least I can do - I'm on crutches and thus pretty much physically useless re protests etc but IF I can aid in the fight against those two on the 'net by using my mind I will do so as I really do HATE them and if I can help get them out I will.............

Three randomly chosen old threads for you on the ownership situation. 10k posts and 300k views. We've all known it for years. Its the idea of something happening about it that people have grown lethargic about. Ultimately a lot of people seem to feel that in modern football, money is more important than the fans. And its only money, ie a buyer, that is going to get us out of this mess. Now if someone can show how we can help get that, rather than just shouting H&G OUT repeatedly (and preferably without use of petrol bombs), then I'd have thought there'd be more enthusiasm.....

It's a waste of time because it's not the right way forward. Hicks and Gillett know full well that they are not welcome here and that the fans don't like them, which is being demonstrated by their willigness to go through a sale process. At the end of the day you wouldn't hold against them to make a profit on what they've bought, this is basic business sense.

I am not excusing them, they are a pair of parasites who I don't like but it's simplistic to say that they will forfeit all of their assets just like that.

We should blame the system and the way it's infiltrated modern football more than this pair of ****wits. We are not the only club who is in this situation and maybe the premier league should devise procedures so as to protect English clubs (or force investors into providing securities as to before coming here) from being ripped off.

It's more sensible than employing drastic measures.

As to 'forfeiting their assets'? That's the whole point - we Shouldn't BE their bloody assets!!! Mate, do you believe that things will look rosy when they'll be gone? This club (and football in general) has become prey to capitalist ****wits. It's because they are buying into a very strong brand (the premier league) and we are a club with massive potential because of our huge fan base. Man. Utd were the pioneers in exploiting this and we've been slow to catch up because we wanted to keep it as a 'family club', that's why we are where we are now.

As I said, blame the system, because if it doesn't change, we'll still be a prey for those kind of buyouts. It's the name of the game.
