Why should it be a different quality of player? If we don't have any money to spend it doesn't matter who we WANT to sign it only matters who we can AFFORD to sign.

well obviously who we can afford is a factor but that dosen't change the fact we should be looking for players a class or two above those required by Fulham and then seeing how we can finance them

that is of course unless you now believe that Liverpool belongs in the same pool as the Fulhams of this world
