You can see the ability he has though. Very bright and lively.

Ideally i'd like to see him sent out on loan to a Premiership team this season, maybe a Bolton or Blackburn or the like.

i can understand where your coming from not everything worked for him tonight, a bit frustrating but you can tell a player with quality a mile away and he is one. I dont think a loan is the answer though, i think calring cup and plenty of subs appearances will gel him with the rest of the first team and bring the best out in him.

all the great players that have come through (gerrard, owen, carragher, fowler) have been brought in as subs and smaller games and have gone on to great things.

im not a fan of loaning out players in respect to that they learn to play a different system and pick up habits that are not always good. and if the player is good enough he shouldnt be getting loaned out

We need another striker as back up to Torres, but N'Gog is sound as third choice.

N'Gog was good last night, he found the space all the time, had technique, pace and hold the ball, not to mention goal and penalty. He's is erratic at the times but Torres at his age wasn't banging goals for fun was he or neither was Rooney. I am trying to think better and potentially better 21 year old strikers who's value was 1.5 million.

And he surely is better than Zamora or Kalou. Not ready to lead the lines by himself for the season but lot's of potential and developing all the time.
