Personally I'm unsure I see him wanting to play the more attacking role of our midfielders, making it one of Gerrard, Meireles and Aquilani (if he stays).
He could do I suppose -might leave us a tad light in CM though

    ........Lucas/New player......Aqua

That's the role he has been playing for Juve and he has been one of their best players.

But is he capable of playing that role in the premiership wher ethe league is more physical and you generally get less time on the ball.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's a pretty long shot, but possible. As is him being ****. We should take him back if our scouts and management team think he is the best availble option out there, not for convenience.

His game now is all about touch and pass. No more dribbling nor long individual runs.

I'm kind of in two minds with Aqua, I'm not sure if he's a bit lightweight for the premiership but then if we continue to play the pass and move football Kenny likes to play he should fit in well

I suppose we either get what we want from Juve at the end of the season which is unlikely or get him back and give him another go - I'd hate to see him sold on the cheap.

I certainly haven't seen anything in his game that would put him ahead of Meireles in the pecking order.

depends where we played him and how we lined up

Our midfield is weak as **** at the minute. This guy coming back would turn it to butter. He makes Raul look like Roy Keane on the rag.

I'd say so. It's all up there (points to head) and he has it. He's very good at deciding what to do with the ball before/as he receives it

I made a very similar point on another thread about Alberto. I felt towards the end of the season he was here he was always looking to move the ball quickly, sometimes maybe to quickly for the players around him which obviously made him look bad. I feel with more intelligent players around him he could be a fantastic addition to the team/squad. My only qualifier to that would be that I feel he would definitely need to toughen up in the way Lucas has.

                            Very good observation.

To me his biggest problem was that he was trying to thread the ball in the areas that his teammates have not anticipated at all (He was always one step ahead of them).

Given his limited playing time he was forcing a lot of passes with a very low probability of completion (I still prefer those to safe short-range passes that often then not lead to nothing) in attempt to desperately impress.

He's a very smart player with a very good vision.

He would just need to play regularly for his teammates to learn and adjust (and vice versa) to his passing skills.

Juve linked with Mascherano now according to some tabloid paper apparently (with nothing to back it up of course).
If they've money for him, surely they won't be following through with Aquilani ?

Aquilani is a quality footballer who arrived injured, hadn't done a pre season in years and struggled to adpat.
If Juventus don't pay the agreed fee we should bring him straight back, he's been injury free for approx a season and a half, get a full pre season into him and he'll be brilliant for us.
We are short of numbers in midfield and undoubtably he would strengthen us
