I know i said that because well i just told i said that and i never said signed by Cuper as that **** doesn't happen in Spain, but the team is built under the manager, the players are signed by the director with input from the manager.

Manager controls the players under him and puts the team together the way he wants, not the director of football!! Hence why he is the manager! Well done Mr.Smarty Pants

I know mate it was a disgrace, but the team he put out should have cruised that, everyone that looked at the line ups would have thought the same, sure score predictions on here were us hammering them from most people. But alas we weren't good enough and several of the fringe/youngsters clearly aren't good enough or aren't as good as we think they are.

We wanted youngsters, Roy gave us youngsters, and we lost to a ****e team. I'm happy not about it but i'm shocked at the amount of posts saying get rid.

Mate Valencia didn't need to sign any players they had a ridiculous team including: Cañizares, Carboni,Ayala, Baraja, David Albelda, Vicente,Aimar,Gonzalez, world class players at the time all there when Rafa arrived built by Hector Cuper. The only big player sold in Rafa's time was Mendiata as far as i can remmember. Sure they were Champs League runners up 2 consecutive years before Rafa arrived, what Rafa gave him was direction to his credit but the tools were more than there for him, any manager coming into a squad like that would be over the moon, much the same as the treble winning Inter team Rafa just walked into.

To be fair , barca and Madrid had a few decent players too...

In fairness, I don't know ya so couldn't care less what you think. That said, my posts are aimed at those who wanted Rafa gone but are now wishing he was back here and pretend they never stopped backing him. I know who they are, and they know who they are. I'll leave at that for now until one of them has the Gaul to have a go and then I may just be sad enough to trawl through the archives - something which in reality would achieve nothing.

You share very similiar opinions to myself regarding Rafa and Roy, and i agree Roy hasn't done great thus far, but its early doors yet hopefully we can kick on in next 5 games.

So built implies Signed...... to you Matt. Usually when i mean signed i'll actually write the word "signed" I explained it what else can i say its not rocket science.

Paranoid & Bitter Rafa fans think the whole world is against Rafa, relax its bit more straight than that i gave the man credit for what he done, but said that he came into a fearsome squad that were runners up in the Champions League Final 2 years on the trot before Rafa arrived in 2001, which is spot on. Whats interesting is that the same pro-rafa guys that are slagging off Hodgson are probably the same guys that were defending Rafa after losing 20 games in one season, saying give him more time.
