Yeah, very odd, would have played him at CM to get him used to the team, I will refrain from commenting further in case I'm being to hard on Roy - I'm trying to give him the chance for at least one more month.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWhy the **** isn't Meireles playing?

Honestly, with that line up, we should be able to completely control the game and win with ease if the team is correctly organised.Originally posted by cream View PostGod, that looks ****ing awful, might give this one a swerve.

That really shouldn't be a problem with those players though.Originally posted by Baracus View PostWith that kinda of line up we can safely rule out 2 tactics
1. Counter Attack
2. Ball retention; pass and move
it leaves us with one option
Long ball
go roy go :cheerleader

Kuyt - Poor touchOriginally posted by Mattshark View PostThat really shouldn't be a problem with those players though.
Lucas - Poor touch, misplaced passes and backwards
Poulson - Poor Touch, misplaced passes and backwards
If it goes back to
Carragher or Skrtel, there is a potential for the ball to bypass the midfieldLast edited by Baracus; 30-09-10, 01:47 PM.

That isn't really true. While Lucas and Poulson aren't the most progressive passers, to says they misplace a lot of passes is simply bollocks. They simply don't.
None of them have poor touches at all.

Kelly - young CB, converted to RB, playing LB
Johnson - great attacking asset but looks totally lacking in confidence
Jovanovic - get the ball and run as fast as possible with as straight a back as possible until lose possesion
basically - i'm thinking, best tactic we have is a quick accurate throw from reina to coles feet, cole to skin someone and play through torres to score.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Ok They don't, which I think is bollocks. I guess we'll once again see a masterclass from all 3 in passing and ball retention like we have done over the seasonOriginally posted by Mattshark View PostThat isn't really true.
