It is ironic as he's due back on Oct 02 so he may start against B'pool.

Yeah, very odd, would have played him at CM to get him used to the team, I will refrain from commenting further in case I'm being to hard on Roy - I'm trying to give him the chance for at least one more month.

Honestly, with that line up, we should be able to completely control the game and win with ease if the team is correctly organised.

It does, but with these kind of selections, it would be more satisfying if we play well.

With that kinda of line up we can safely rule out 2 tactics

                      1. Counter Attack
                      2. Ball retention; pass and move

it leaves us with one option

Long ball go roy go :cheerleader

That really shouldn't be a problem with those players though.

                          Kuyt - Poor touch
Lucas - Poor touch, misplaced passes and backwards
Poulson - Poor Touch, misplaced passes and backwards

                          If it goes back to

Carragher or Skrtel, there is a potential for the ball to bypass the midfield

That isn't really true. While Lucas and Poulson aren't the most progressive passers, to says they misplace a lot of passes is simply bollocks. They simply don't.

None of them have poor touches at all.

Kelly - young CB, converted to RB, playing LB
Johnson - great attacking asset but looks totally lacking in confidence
Jovanovic - get the ball and run as fast as possible with as straight a back as possible until lose possesion

basically - i'm thinking, best tactic we have is a quick accurate throw from reina to coles feet, cole to skin someone and play through torres to score.

Ok They don't, which I think is bollocks. I guess we'll once again see a masterclass from all 3 in passing and ball retention like we have done over the season
