Who would accept defeat against Everton if it meant

Hodgson getting the sack and Kenny taking over until NESV have the chance to appoint their own man??

I would, 100% in a heartbeat. Short term pain for long term gain.

If the rumoured team turns out to be true he is heading to Goodison aiming for a 0-0 and hoping to get lucky with a piece of genius from Gerrard or Torres.

He has no idea how to behave as manager of Liverpool football club, every game is 'difficult' and there are always ready made excuses slipped into press conferences preparing everyone for when his 1980's tactics fail again.

The 2nd best thing about having new owners is now all the focus is on Hodgson, no hiding place Roy, no hiding place.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Losing streak till he has been sacked.I wouldn't trust him with the money and he will get rid of players who we don't want sold.

Actually, **** it - if it meant getting a proper manager in, i'd take the defeat.

Defeat tomorrow costs us 3 points. Keeping Hodgson costs us a ****load more.

I'm not a fan of Hodgson but the outcome of tomorrow's match won't imo have a bearing of his future or lack of it at LFC. Sure we could win tomorrow and then fail to win our next 5, people saying Roy won't be under pressure then just because he won the Derby? Of course he will. If he's as bad as we all think he'll be found out soon enough and he'll be gone.

However whilst he's still our manager lets get behind him and the team. It's a cliche but we need to stick together.

**** me, just watching the Arsenal match on MOTD and their football is in another world compared to ours. Just kind of hit home just how horrible we've been this season. Either it's Roy or the players. This weeks morale boost should stop motivation being an issue so it's all eyes on Roy and his tactics.

Now Roy's focus on shape and defending might be quite effective in the derby, we'll see, but the issue is more that he can't adapt to playing ****e at home.

I can't believe anybody would even contemplate, never mind acccepting defeat by Neverton...

Roy will be found out anyways - he's a stop gap and that's it. Victory or defeat tomorrow won't change that..

I'll have three points tomorrow, thank you very much..

And then, not far behind it..........The return of the King will not be far away...........

I think we'll lose but I'd love if we won, and I'd love Roy to turn it around and start getting the team playing.

                      But I think we'll lose.

Thing is with derbies, form, tactics and shape are thrown out of the window. I don't think he even needs to do more work than he's already been doing.
                          Are we winning?

I will never accept defeat against any club before a game. Roy is so deluded and up in his own arse that he will be sacked very soon anyway.

I love the club to much to accept defeat before a game. I even hoped that we would win the game against Chelsea last season even if meant that Scum won the title.

We are Liverpool and it's ****ing time that we show that to the rest of the world again. Like we did just a couple of years ago.

Time to get back to the top again. Starting tomorrow. Roy would probably not agree with me but I simply don't care about that smalltime egomaniac man that clearly think that he is the best manager in the world ever.

i think the question needs to be tweaked:

would you accept defect tomorrow if it meant roy was sacked OR, if we won tomorrow, that he got the rest of the season.
