          I wish that were true mate but I think it gives all of us too much credit. We all have our blind spots and for quite a few last season, Rafa could do little or nothing right. He made mistakes last year but it was also one of those seasons where a lot of small things went against us IMO, which gradually turned into bigger things that got harder to get right as the season went on, heads went down, and pressure rose.

          Its rose-tinted to think there werent lots on here making ill-informed comments about money spent, G & H, Rafa and all that too.

              You dont seriously think H&G sacked him because they thought they were doing what the fans wanted though, do you?

                They sacked him because he had to much power when it comes down to buying/selling players and that it was down to him or Purslow staying. IMO of course. Purslow needed to stay so we could get rid of G&H.

                        That was a pretty bad start to the 64-65 season bearing in mind we were champions.

                        So is Hoxson (I'm using the Albanian spelling) going to win us the FA Cup?

                              And people still trot out that line "we're just seeing a continuation of last season's crap". It's demonstrably utter bull****. Yes last season was bad and no-one's forgotten it. But if last season was bad, this is just off the ****ing scale.
