We did on the odd occasion, we never did as a general tactic though. What we are doing now is defensive football, what we played under Houllier was defensive football, under Rafa we played control football.Originally posted by fred_plasticine View PostOh dear...

I'm sure it's bollocks, but I wouldn't be too disappointed with it. There is obviously managers I'd prefer, but he has impressed me to date and he's at the age to come in and build something as opposed to a short term fix.Originally posted by chadrtc View Post

From Anfield and the call's but county-wide.
When Woy is gone, you'll hear the scousers crying :
'Tis you, 'tis you, Owen, we want to stop our slide.
So come ye fast ; we'll back you in the window -
Your future's Red, not green nor white, you know !
'Tis you'll be here to take us from the shadow.'
Oh Dannyboyy, Oh Dannyboyy - we told you so...

It's not a Rafa thread this mate, it's about Roy and people's dislike of himOriginally posted by danperkins View PostLove this Rafa thread.
Rafa coming back is laughable, not only is there a more likelihood of me getting a hand job of Jessica Biel, i wouldn't want him back, move on boys for god sake. I know this is the Rafa thread but even talking about him returning to LFC is ridiculous chatter.
You want this one
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Where at a really difficult stage.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostWith out a doubt, but it would still be a big signal of a lack of ambition.
We need the owners, manager & players ambition to be the same and they have to go hand in hand with what the fans expect realistically for the time being - 4th; then we can move on. If either one of those 3 lacks ambition we fail. Last couple of years it was the owners and this year the manager.
We don't need people who are just happy to be here and who have no idea about expectations and how to deliver them. (PFK)
