I'm so ****ed off with football at the minute. It hardly hurts when we lose now. I shrugged my shoulders when Defoe scored yesterday, cause I knew it was going to happen & will do again very soon.

13 away wins in 105 games and he hasn't exactly been in charge of **** clubs. Blackburn was a top club at the time and we are still a top club. Fulham was a midtable club.

It is just so **** statistic that you almost can't believe it is true.

Blackburn were on the decline, well after roy got hold of them Fulham he improved from relgation fodder to a mid table team.

He has said enough of his mentality about away games for us to know, Win the home games and thats 50 odd points enough to be be safe from relegation and thats Roys's jpb done.

One thing that stands out for me is Modric has that rare ability of playing with his chin up when running with the ball

He glides past players effortlessly which is some attribute in the physical arena's of the Premier League

I often watch opposition players and teams and only occassionally give them effusive credit

Modric for me deserved such platitudes yesterday

If there was one player who was the difference for me, in a tight game overall

I'd have to say it was him

In fairness, the season before he was sacked, Hodgson took Blackburn to a 6th place finish in the Premiership
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If he dropped dead later my first thought would probably be massive relief. Its sad to feel like that about someone connected with Liverpool but he's a massive disease which needs removing as soon as possible.

Thought Modric was the best player on the park by a country mile, did he not get man of the match too?

Modric shones when vdv is out. Plays to deep when vdv is playing.

Exactly - this would make perfect sense, however it is dependant on the required manager being available.

Although we all know that ABR could do better so I'm just not sure why they'd contemplate keeping him in his job rather than getting a caretaker in - maybe there's come sort of clause that we don't know about.

Modric is a fantastic talent as is VDV. Spurs have bags of pace and creativity, both things we lack horribly. They can score from so many different areas, whereas we rely on Torres and Gerrard and have zero width. Harry has spent but has put together an excellent squad, some shrewd buys after all he is the wheeler dealer

Money talks and bull**** walks. Any manager we can get in the summer we can get now!

A caretaker manager might be better for the interim but it doesn't really help us any for the future. We really need a long term manager before the January transfer window.
