I've said it before but I'll say it again.

The easiest way to get rid of Hodgson would be for the crowd to make their feelings known. He isn't good enough for us and never has been good enough for us.

It might stick in the throat but it would send a clear message.

'Liverpool are back' - thanks Gérard, I feel better now.

This because we beat West Ham who are ravaged by injuries and bottom of the league

I am not meaning Entertainment in a 'SkySports' way at all.

I mean entertaining as in a team that play good, expansive, attacking football. What I mean is the Hodgson grab a goal and sit back and defend as if our life's depend on it holds absolutely no interest to me. Liverpool are one of the biggest teams in World Football, not some kick and rush mid table pub team.

But I may be different form others, it just isn't the football that I grew up enjoying. There are times when digging deep and grinding out a result is necessary, but right now 'digging deep and grinding out a result' is about as god as it gets for us.
I know what you are saying

The 'SkySports' dig was a bit tongue in cheek really.

I just want to see us winning again. To begin with I don't care how but once we've got used to it again we can start concentrating on the kind of football we play. I accept you could argue that playing a better way may lead us on to winning again and it is this winning again that I want to see above all else

I'm happy for Roy to get to the end of the season now. Players appear happy and comfortable.

He's working it out and growing in to the role, IMO. I doubt anyone will agree, but we'll see eh?

We'll see if you change your mind after the next away game.

I don't think I will. He's absorbing criticism well and getting the right reaction out of players. Johnson's knuckled down, and players are improving. I can't think of anyone going backwards atm, Poulson was never there in the first place, but even Konchelskis was looking more assured tonight.

If, IF, we get a little bit of luck against Newcastle then perhaps we can start to think about improving our away form too. Hodgson's arrived unprepared for the job and it showed. He's no mug though despite what you'd read on here. To finish this season higher than 7th will be an improvement, after losing a world class midfielder, and he will need to be credited if we do.

After Newcastle, it'll be 13 away wins in 106 attempts for roy.

This kind of stat tells me his away game allergy is terminal.

We shouldn't need luck against a team just promoted from the Championship, especially when they've just sacked their manager.

Roy has a good run of games where he should pick up a lot of wins now. TBH I'd say even a monkey would get us a good haul of points from our next games, but that would clearly mean I wasn't factoring in how bad Roy really is.

We've had three good games under Roy where we've battered teams, Blackburn, West Ham and Villa, all at home. All three were on a low and had serious injury problems.

Let's see how we do against teams with a bit more confidence in themselves. That said, as I mentioned we have a great chance to get a good run going.

We've done well against teams playing with confidence and been unlucky not to come away with the points. I get what you mean about not needing luck but sometimes it can be weighted against you.

It will be interesting to see who he will drop at expense of Stevie and what will be his formation.

He's not really managed at the top in this country though. Blackburn & Fulham would struggle away from home regardless who was in charge. We weren't that great last season either, but then that's been done to death on here.
