I didnt say you were comparing him to Lennon. Bale etc but your original post said 'How slow is Shelvey'.......i dont think he's slow. Obviously he was out of position and probably not quick enough to be a winger but we know that's not what he is.

Personally i think he's more than quick enough for a midfielder.

Notts, but my experience of this comes from the Uni where I'm studying. All the Rugby players are posh, thick ****s fresh from private schools.

Rugby clubs tend to be a much broader section of the community.

Ironic isn't it? We live close to Twickenham and apparently the posh cunts who live there wouldn't fathom having a football stadium around.

There's nothing more irritating than a rugger fan on his high horse about all that stuff. I really detest that sport, I'd rather finger my own arsehole than watch a game of rugby - which is ironic really cos if I did watch a game there's every chance I'd get to see one 18 stone man fingering another 18 stone man's arsehole. In Australia its odd. Cricket is kinda everyone, football is generally everyone. Then League is for the scum bricklayers and Rugby is for the private school arrogant ******s.

And IMO that's worse. At least everyone involved in premeditated brawling is up for it and wants some, they're all consenting. Organised fighting is quite tame, it's the spontaneous, wild **** which drags in unwitting and innocent people that's most unpleasant I reckon.
