Personally i think he's more than quick enough for a midfielder.
That wasn't my post at all mate.

You're kidding right? visit any small to medium town on a friday/saturday night and you'll no doubt witness a bunch of pissed up cunts from a local rugby club fighting anyone they can.

There's nothing more irritating than a rugger fan on his high horse about all that stuff. I really detest that sport, I'd rather finger my own arsehole than watch a game of rugby - which is ironic really cos if I did watch a game there's every chance I'd get to see one 18 stone man fingering another 18 stone man's arsehole. Either that or pummelling his face. Lovely stuff.

Rugby's just for you NSWmen and Queenslanders. Rest of the country is Aussie Rules mad.

What like the south wales valleys where a pretty significant number of people are on the dole?

I wouldn't lecture any one about football's problems but I've never been chased by thugs after watching rugby.
Well no, but I've seen and encountered countless gangs of pissed up rugger lads on a jolly boys night out turning pubs over and hammering innocent bystanders senseless.

Hmmm ... the percentages representating sections of the community wouldn't show uniformity though, of that I'm pretty sure.
                    Are we winning?

In England? Guess I'm showing my intentional ignorance of the sport then.

And IMO that's worse. At least everyone involved in premeditated brawling is up for it and wants some, they're all consenting. Organised fighting is quite tame, it's the spontaneous, wild **** which drags in unwitting and innocent people that's most unpleasant I reckon.

I'm sure you have, but my original point was about safety in and around matches.

I see your point, but organised violence is a lot more insidious and most legal systems see it as a greater crime.

Can't argue with that. The thugs at a rugby game are all on the pitch.
