I'm hardly a serial poster, but I want to extend my concern over Rodgers' approach to this.
I think it was a catastrophic error in him saying that "every player has their price". Our rivals must be pis*ing themselves, whilst our players know that if a tempting offer comes in they could be shipped out without even wanting to.
I thought the whole point of LFC was to do dealings in/out in private, yet every 2 minutes he's commenting.

Doesn't matter if you're a serial poster or not mate. It's good to see new opinions and people here.Originally posted by Camble View PostI'm hardly a serial poster, but I want to extend my concern over Rodgers' approach to this.

Agree with you too. Saying that every player has their price is a bit small-time imo.

You have to look his interview but imo he still shouldn't have said what he said about Agger as sometimes it is better to leave things unsaid even if he thinks that especially in the time of uncertainty when his comments already unsettled Carroll.
It almost feels that we are inviting and declaring "open season" on our best players and I find that whole approach wrong.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Aye.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostI would never for a second think Agger would want to leave. However if he does go i would stronly believe that he was pushed.
There was lot of rumours flying around that we offered him a new contract but it is not pleasing for Agger but I really want to think that he never initiated this saga but it was the club that started this whole ****-up.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Of course not, everyone is entitled to their opinion, those that have concerns, those that feel all will be well, and those that are just waiting to see, they are all valid. imo.

When there was hype around Carroll being shipped out, he turns round and publicly declares that a loan option could be an option.
I know that he will have already spoke to AC about this and it wouldn't have come as a shock when he heard him, however it is hardly going to lift his morale and confidence knowing that every Tom, D*ck and Harry knows.
Now, it looks as if he's staying, he could have an amazing season an then decide to f*ck us off at the end. It's happened before with Xabi, if players don't feel loved they'll always have that thought at the back of their mind.
