I understand that view but i have a feeling Arsenal will exploit that left-sided combination of Cissohko and Sahko.

Don't change a winning side especially at the back
I love Agger and if it was my choice I would probably have him back in the team, but I can understand why he's not.
I'm sure he does too despite today's rumours. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Is Agger the sort of person who would complain about not being in the team for a couple of games, despite him coming back from injury and us winning?
I'd prefer him back in the team too. Anyway, if we're going to be playing three at the back for a majority of the season then all CB's will get their chances.

Am pretty sure we concede goals with Agger in the side......Skrtel never moaned when out of the side,Agger should keep his mouth shut and wait for his chance.Originally posted by spider-neil View PostNot saying Agger should be playing but we've conceded in every game he has been out.

We're winning games despite Agger not being in the team. Our defence is very leaky, there is a strong case to putting him back in.Joint 3rd best defensive record in the league conceding 8 goals in 9 games would suggest the defence are doing something right.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostYou can also say we lost the last game he started and since then we've taken 10 points from a possible 12.
I think Agger is a great defender BUT we're winning games and picking up good points, don't mess around with a winning side.

We have also scored more with the change, which is a good thing.
Definitely more of an issue with how we set up that the personnel involved. Individually they have all played well, but there are certain defensive flaws in the system. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I knew the moment I got Agger on my shirt it would not bode well.
I can add it to my pile with Joe Cole, Mascherano, Robbie Keane and 'kin Torres
I felt the Sakho signing was a bit strange, considering the price. It reminded me of the Carroll signing, an act of desperation to appease the fans. Too much choice can be a bad thing with a centre back partnership. Its not a position I think we should rotate. On form Skrtel and Toure should be first choice, who are probably both second choice on paper. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I don't think the Sakho signing was an act of desperation personally. I think Sakho has done really well for us, and we can't get past the fact that Carra had to come back in during the last half of last season due to our centre-backs being so poor.Originally posted by Charly View PostI knew the moment I got Agger on my shirt it would not bode well.

I think most would have been a little disappointed if Toure was the sole CB we signed this summer as a replacement for Carra and didn't address the issues we had with Skrtel & Agger. They're not very solid together and no one knew whether we'd get a full season from Toure
