Although I know that Lyon full back failed a medical at AC Milan over his teeth. They reckoned it could point to spinal problems
That was Aly Cissokho (played for Porto at that time) who allegedly didn't pass a medical and he claimed all along that there was nothing wrong with his teeth (he actually had 2 medicals>one with Milan and one with Italian Football Federation and he initially passed both) and Milan only used that as an excuse to stop the deal from happening.

Shortly after Milan pulled out and he signed long term deal with Lyon and imo he's been one of their best players since then.

Quite a bit of stuff about wisdom teeth and muscular problems, I think its all to do with the jaw creating pressure at the top of the spine and how the body then compensates for this. Most of the rest of us dont exhibit the same symptoms as professional athletes obviously as we put a lot less strain on our bodies.

            Jesus.
Most 19 year olds of note had made their mark at that age.

Thare arent that many examples of late developers, but if i think back to the kids that have broken through from the youth system in Liverpool, Gerrard, Fowler Owen, they were all aming their mark at 19.

To leave a mark he would need to play first..

Cadena Ser is reporting that Malaga have approached Liverpool about taking Liverpool’s young attacking midfielder Dani Pacheco on loan until January. Only last week Roy Hodgson insisted the Spaniard had a bright future at the club:

“In the last couple of reserve games he’s played very well too. It’s nice to know he’s still very much a part of the Liverpool future. He’s unlucky in the position he plays, just behind the striker or in a wide role. That’s probably where we have most competition at the club right now. For a young player it’s not easy to knock the likes of Joe Cole, Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez off their perch. Having said that, we still believe in him. We think he’s a good player and he’s got a very bright future. Of course there’ll be lots of other clubs out there who want to take him but if he really wants to be at the top level he might be well advised to keep learning his trade with these sorts of people around him, rather than to become a bigger fish at a smaller club.”

Apparently, according to Cadena Ser though, Malaga have opened talks with the Merseyside club over a possible loan deal.

What about most people who peak in their mid-20s?

Lineker, is probably the best example. There are plenty of others. The majority in fact.

Of the 3 you mentioned, two were burned-out by their mid 20s. The other, Gerrard did not make his make impact until a couple of years after Owen, despite being the same age.
                  Oh I don't know.

Liverpool youngster Dani Pacheco wants to out on loan in order to gain more first team experience.

The 19-year-old - who just signed a new long-term deal to keep him on Merseyside until 2014 - has his sights set on a temporary move in January which, he says, will 'be best for everyone'.

“I’m delighted to have signed a new deal. I’m being sincere when I say that I see my future here, I’d like it to be so; but in order to get some playing time, and if it suits the club, the best thing would be for me to go out on loan," the Liverpool starlet told respected journalist Guillem Balague.

“I had talks with [Liverpool director of football strategy] Damien Comolli when signing a new contract and he told me that young players like myself and [Liverpool defender] Martin Kelly are central to his vision for the club.”

“I’m training well and [Liverpool manager] Roy Hodgson is happy with me; he’s seen what I can do in the Europa League. However, we will have to see how things stand in January and if the club are in agreement, then a loan move might be best for everyone."

Pacheco is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Europe; impressing during his time in Spain's under 19 squad as well as with the Liverpool reserves.

The teenager joined Liverpool in 2007 from the Barcelona youth academy where he earned the nickname El Asesino ("The Assassin") for his goalscoring prowess.

He his part of a growing crop of exciting young players at Liverpool along with compatriot Suso, striker David Amoo and hotshot Adam Morgan - each are whom have been tipped to become Anfield stars of the future.

Morgan is a striker, plays for England U-17.

                        That`s all I know.

I watch a bit of academy/reserves (on TV) and have to say I can't remember seeing Morgan. At all. Gives me more reason to continue watching.

Pacheco on Loan? Good move for everyone concerned.

Though I have to say, I'd rather he went on loan in the premier league than La Liga.

That said, I think it's unlikely he'd get regular games in a team over here so La Liga is the next best.

TBH I would rather him go to Championship team if he cannot play in PL. It would serve him and us better. He'd be able to adopt more quickly to the physical aspect of playing English type of football and no reason to worry if he would get homesick.
