this transfer market has never been a better time to buy, you have mata still not signed to a deal at valencia, and while he is a good player he still is not the top top notch player in terms of what he would cost.
you have lots of good proven quality players who have not got into the champions league with their repsective clubs, lyon have players that are unhappy, lopez they want to sell for around 15 million... you have lllorente who wants to leave bilbao... you have players who are up for sale at real madrid, who are not getting games, you have clubs like ajax who are in huge money problems, suarez wants out and as we have been linked with him,,, its know he can brought for as little as 10 million, you have some players at city who want first team football, altough i wouldnt buy the likes of santa cruz and sw phillips, what i am trying to say is that in any market and at any time there is chances to improve our squad, yet again REINA IS CALLING FOR IT TO BE DONE.....

for me you have benfica who have dropped into the europa league, they are a good side on their day as we have found, but players like cardoza and luiz will be on the move as too will rauls best mate fabio coentrao.

To not invest in jan on the right players in 2 or 3 positions in thea team would be so very lazy and would spell a complete lack of business knowledge!!! its time to invest most lfc fans will tell you this and we have to now!!!

my idea would be to sell all the loan deals. get rid of the players like; degen, el zhar, plessies, darby, itandge, jovanovic, poulsen, insua, etc ( who offers nothing in the long or short term!) and get rid of konchesky who is just crap and improve in the three roles within the squad.

id like to see aquilani sold to juv in the summer which is the agreement in place, for around 13.1 million is the agreed fee.

if we could add a great left back / wing back = coentrao'

if we could add another center mid= banega or sweinsteiger

if we coudl add a frontman = llorente- suarez

and a right winger now or in the summer.

and buy the way if you are thinking of getting sweinsteiger why not? he is out of contract and would be sold for around 20 mill , he is 26 years of age and he is just brillaint and he is dying for a move, and would give you a player who can operate in many different roles and positions,
