That's about as wrong as a statement can be. For me he's a complete liability, a penalty waiting to happen. Painfully slow, poor on the ball with shocking distribution. I'd have him in only if everyone else was injured. And let's not even start on his inflated ego and apparent idea that he's player-manager. Show the ****er the door

Yeah, we did so well defensively without him at Newcastle.Originally posted by Redspin View PostThat's about as wrong as a statement can be. It's entertaining for the barometer of bull**** to be talking about how wrong statements can be. You should certainly know.

I used to think the same but, not no more , He's probably 3rd choice if a new man walked in and assessed the squad he would be a squad player at best , true great yes but he would and should be treated like the likes off giggs /scholes down the road , Kelly has not had the chance yet , Skrtyl and the greek are more dominant ,Agger is quality when fit and that's the thing ,Carra has always been fit ,now he's setback with his first long term injury ( since being a reg center back) ,he would struggle to get back. Also if rumours are true about the new contract and rafa bashing **** him I say, The club is bigger than ANY playerOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostWhere's the option for "I dont have to love him but he is still our best CB so he stays and plkays" ?You Can Lead A Horse To Water , But A Pencil Must Be Lead!

I'm old enough to remember a time at the club where once you weren't up to the job that was it!! The list is endless: Toshack, McDermott, Hughes, Thompson, Case, Jones et al. Absolutely ruthless. It didn't matter who you were. You would still be a fine player but once your performance level dropped to an unacceptable level you were out the door like **** off a shiny shovel. Off the top of my head I can only think of Kenny, Keegan, Hansen and Souness and a couple of others who avoided this fate.I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Not sure i agree though andrew. Skrtel's inconsistency is worrying, and he showed the negative side of his game at Newcastle. Kyrgiakos is solid and reliable, but in terms of marshalling the back four and organising, nobody comes close to Carra.Originally posted by andrewces38 View PostSee the above post..............( my post)
Agger's class, but never fit it seems.
On merit, there's no way Carra isnt one of the best two CB options we have, especially while Agger's out.
