Thats spot on Dan but Merse was dog **** at the top level. He was OK at mid table and championship but when he was in the spotlight at a top club like Arsenal, he was absolute bobbins.
Think you must have been on a few nights out with Merse back in the day if you thought he was "Superb".

I'l have to agree to disagree mate, Merson threw his career away on drink and drugs, the talent was there, he was always an absolute idiot though. Off the pitch lifestyle killed his career.
