Thanjk you.

I don't doubt or disagree with his motives for leaving, just the manner in which he did. Had he gave everything for the club for the rest of the season I'd have let him go then with my blessing if he still didn't want to stay.
I just hope that in the summer we can build and give them a run for their money next year. Coming above Chelsea next year would be the biggest possible two fingered salute we could give to Torres, just like winning the CL in 2005 was the biggest stick to beat Owen with.
If Chelsea win more trophies and finish above us in the league for the next 5 years then in terms of Torres, his move would have been justified. So my wish is we can ram it down his throat with more success at LFC.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Speaks volumes, hope he has a nightmare for Chelsea but the fact remains that if him and Drogba kick in gear, you're looking at one incredibly scary partnership. I pray they don't but IMO its only matter of time.
Anyways pity Carroll couldn' t make the Chelsea game, even to come on for 20 mins or so, would be such a boost to have him and Suarez up top. Jesus i hope we beat them on Sunday!!
I loved Torres as much as anyone here, but he's gone and with a fair enough reason.
He's not Gerrard. He's not brought up by the club. He doesn't owe us anything.
Think about it if you were in his position. He is a highly competitive, prodigious striker. The best in the game. He came to our club with promises of success. And he was lied to on more than one occasion about what direction the club was taking. Players have such a small window to achieve their own personal goals.
If you were a ****ing awesome player, in your mid twenties, and were at a club (not your home club), who were struggling and bull****ting you constantly, and that window for success was getting smaller and smaller, wouldn't you want to move just in the hope that you may actually win something? Hence why Charlie Adam does not want to stay at Blackpool.
We are miles away from the glory days of yesteryear. Time passes quickly. It's going to take time to rebuild. It might take 5 years - Torres will be 31 then...
I'm sure he loves/loved the club. We just couldn't provide him with what he needed. And it makes me sad that we couldn't. It's Liverpool's fault he left. Not Torres's.
He's a good guy. It's easy to spot the cunts in the game, and Fernando Torres is not a cunt. He just wants to win... All the time. The sign of a great player.
The **** thing for us was the timing. He can't go to Spain - Barca don't need him, and Madrid is a no go zone. He can't go to Italy - No one can afford him. That only leaves Man City and Chelsea.
We got a fantastic price for him. he'll never be worth more. So lets look forward for LFC instead of slagging this "Torres is Judas ****e".
It will make me sick if I see Liverpool supporters giving him **** this Sunday. I'm sure he has more class than many of our supporters, and even if he scores, he won't be pulling an Adebayor. He's better than that.
I for one wish him well for his future. We could've been great together (LFC + Torres). But it just wasn't meant to be.

It's not as simple as saying they'll be amazing cos they're both brilliant. They both play best as a lone striker, neither likes to play in a two, neither will play wide, and Chelsea will have to adapt their system. 442 will likely expose Lampard and i dont think they have a right winger.
It will be interesting. This isnt to say they wont be able to change their system and succeed, but it isnt just seamless and simple either.

I wonder where Anelka will fit into their new system - supersub?
