Flanagan & Robinson are apparently also out injured.

They picked up knocks and have been having treatment at Melwood today

Well it's only a new rule in the PL remember and we don't even know if he has a recall clause. The whole situation with him has been really bizarre from the start. Having heard that Gala didn't want any of their loan players in January it makes no sense that he stayed, especially if we were getting rid of Konchesky.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Let's hire Ashley Cole to shoot a few of them. Or preferably all of them.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I'm sure Terry could sort out the arrangements for a few coins of silver.

I won't even criticize our central defenders if they hoof the ball a lot. It is not like they will have that many options.

If City take Lucas out of the game ,and you expect them to do that, then hoof will be the option we have left.

You can very easily see City ripping us to pieces in midfield - Yaya Toure and De Jong running the show with the likes of Silva and Johnson playing between our midfield and defence.

I predicted a 0-0 a few days ago, but having seen our hopeless performance on Saturday and City's 5-0 win on Sunday, i'm not sure.(obv these injuries problems wont help either)

Every which way it looks a bit of a disaster, unless someone really steps up from the reserve ranks.
I agree, something I have already pointed out regarding Kuyt as a wing back with 3 at the back. We are in the Sh** and its not looking likely to get better.

Kuyt as a left fullback? but we are in the ****.
Wow you do come out with crazy suff. Kuyt as Left Wing back, when its suggested that he becomes a make shift RB wing back with 3 at the back, 3 in the middle and 2 upfront

I guess one option is to go - **** it 3-4-3 with Kuyt, Suarez and Carroll up top and as attacking a midfield as possible (even if it means playing Cole). In fact it is about the only option I feel might make me feel a bit positive.
Could be a good alternative. We lack attacking options and defensive ones. Were in a dire situation. A possible 4-4-2 formation lends it self to a very negative team with the players we have available. With regards to alternative formations that is us being optimistic and making the best out of a very bad situation, thats before we even mention a possible sub bench. Quite horrible.

Valid point. It will be interesting to know more about how these loan deals are set up and if there is any escape clause before term is up.

It all points to the 2 dodgy physio's we signed from Newcastle. Look how quickly their injury problems have disappeared and ours have exploded

                            Noooo.

Carra seems the most sensible option (far from ideal) given our remaining players personnel.

I know, but Soto's confidence is shot to pieces, for the first time in his time with Liverpool, he's looking a liability.

                              Spearing -- Carra --- Skrtel -- Wilson

Bit weak to say the least but that might be worth a shot.

(if Agger, Aurelio and Mr £18m are ruled out)

                                Not in a million years.

                                Carra - Skrtel - Soto - Wilson

Very concerned with line up especially if they start Adam Johnson as he shred us into pieces last we met and we had Agger on the left who is pretty decent LB option.
