Robbie Fowler was brilliant as a fan because you knew that you were going to get get great, unusual goals with a huge personality as well. His relationship with the crowd was and is unique and thats why he would be in my top five. But this pretty much goes for all the players mentioned. Luis invokes similar expectations and excitement when he plays and if he stays a few years will be rightly viewed alongside the other legends.
Barnes was fantastic, similarly as gifted as Suarez but I think there's nothing Barnes could do that Suarez couldn't, and Suarez in a lesser team. Suarez is immense, completely dominates games, one of the most complete players I've seen, and do an equally good job as a centre forward, behind the main striker, on the left or the right. You can rate Barnes higher because he stayed at the club longer but you can't expect Suarez to stay for years like Barnes did, not in the modern game.
Rafa on Everton - "When you play against the smaller teams at Anfield you know the game will be narrow"
I'd say Dalglish and Gerrard were better than either.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I know it's heresy, and I do love Gerrard, don't get me wrong, and there's no player better at single handedly turning a game, but..what puts him down for me is how he often goes missing in nothing games.
Put him up against mancs or in a cup final and hes the best player in the world. Put him up against bottom of the table in a league game and you never know what you'll get.
Part of why we're so inconsistent in these nothing games and have been for so long.

re suarez leaving - god i'm not looking forward to another summer of will he won't he - ****ing does my head - we have had it with gerrard, mascherano, alonso, torres in virtually consecutive windows - it ****s me off.
for what it's worth, i've said this all season.....my major worry is not suarez himself, but the club - i think if there is £40m offer on the table, the club will take it.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
Suarez been totally unplayable this season and that with probably our worst midfield since the stoneage behind him.
Did you see our midfield of Charlie Adam and Jay Spearing last season?
I think those saying Suarez was just above average last season are being overtly harsh in their criticism, he was excellent bar his finishing, but since our only tactic last season was to try and get it wide and cross, it resulted in Suarez having to create nearly all his chances for himself.
We change approach, Suarez is much more dangerous.
