Had a point to prove after the last time he reffed us. ****ing fed up with it all, the fun is gone when ****ing ****bags like him is allowed onto a pitch. Wish I could have met him right now, I hear prison food is quite good. How the players stay calm is beyond me, that noone went up to him and gave him a bollocking at the end is unbelievable. Cunt.

**CALL OUT TO NIGEL - WTF IS THAT AVATAR??**

It makes me a little uneasy, its had me up on my feet a few occassions and I can even do the leg movement, but the arms are ****ed up. What is it?

I'm going from a (****) stream, so my impression was a barge from Walters, with Carragher holding his waist to maintain his balance and stay on his feet; Walters leans in to him again, in which Carragher is now off balance and they both go over.

Granted Carragher shouldn't have been caught that side of him, but it was a soft penalty in my opinion.

Agree - hopefully Kenny will tear him apart in the post match interview - in a careful but classy way though.

We did play well bar Carra who every time just seems to hoof the ball up every time he has it. FFS Jamie its call pass and move not hoof and hope.

Apart from that we controlled the game and stoke are the worst team i have ever seen. Their entir plan seems to be hoof the ball up and get the strikers to fall over to get free kicks and pens. Then when a goal up do **** all and get 11 men behind the ball.

Massively annoyed at the moment but tomorrow I'll be encouraged and look forward to righting a few wrongs in the next game.
I feel you. But in practice this was a blow to our league challenge. We can't get any point back for this, and that's why I'm not being so philosophical. Blaming the ref, blah blah, it's desperate stuff. We should have scored before they did, and we should have won by more than one. We blew a good chance to really keep the pressure on our rivals. Keeping the ball and passing it around gives some comfort, but Carra's obvious decline and the lack of creativity where it matters are enduring worries too.

Any word on Johnson? He looked to be struggling, is he injured again?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I read Carragher's Times interview with Matthew Syed today. Talks a good game about the mistakes haunting him, etc. And always reading and learning. And I sat there thinking in ten years you never learned to pass mate. In football. Passing. So I pinched some salt.

Great servant, but not a great player. And definitely not the future Kenny envisions I'm sure.

Two players come together, Carra stumbles and drags his man down by the waist. I don't think we do ourselves justice by complaining about pens like that tbh.

Regarding dropping Carragher: A word of caution would be for me that he's our only leader and organiser in defense. Take him out and we might struggle for that reason.

Coates might well go on to be a leader in defense, but it's a tall order right from the off. He needs to be eased in with as little pressure as possible.

We're stuck with Carra for a while longer.

It was a pen though some players get away with it some times.

Carra shouldn't have had his arm there in the first place. Schoolboy mistake by him.

As I said. He must be replaced in the starting XI as soon as possible. Coates simply can't be any worse than him.
