I'd be lying if i said i didnt feel some regret that Rafa never got the chance to work with proper owners. The feeling of 'what if....' is immense.

Big time. I know he's a professional and there's nothing he can do about it, but it must drive Rafa crazy. It'd keep me awake at night.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I'd manage to nod off, even if it meant i did it by counting my money

Saw some random footage of Minsk, where BATE Borisov play their home games and Barca are visiting tonight - it looked like it'd be an awesome trip. I wanna be back in the European Cup

yes, that run to the final in the euro was dismal. (ok, it kinda was)
but we've not won many games since much less progressed.

i cant see our present owners and rafa being a good fit. Its a shame as with the cash backing i think that Rafa would have been immense. Also if they had come a couple of years earlier it would have been great.

              however none of that happened.

back to the question i would like to think we would get through some of the groups however not sure and if we did we would not get much further.

As a squad we have regressed from our 2nd place finish. The league tells us this and we are rebuilding.

a thought that i am not sure of but someone will be able to clarify, at Comollis previous clubs a lot of his signings take a season or two before they show their quality? its in my head but no idea if its right someone let me know.

Our last two seasons in europe were not good and not sure that at the moment we have progressed enough to make an impact. However we are in the building phase and getting players to gel part of the rebuilding Also we will add in future windows so will just have to see how it goes.

do we think that English teams will dominate Europe again in the next 10 years?

The only dominating of Europe that's gonna be done anytime soon, is by Barcelona.

I agree. The new owners, Rafa and Comolli would never be a good fit. As much as I liked Rafa, he was a control freak and want to be in charge of as much as possible at the club.

The Rafa era is over there was some fantastic times, but we will never see him manage the club again

We'd qualify from a group of Lyon, Debrechen & Fiorentina.

                        Big call.

Naples are this year's equivalent of Florence, anyway.

We would qualify if we were in groups B, C, D, E, G and possibly F of this year CL competition.

but at some point they will fall away to a certain extent.

Aye, can see Rafa back managing us again one day. go on, persuade me different.

Never thought i'd see Kenny back tbh.

Assuming we get 4th, how about a job share: Kenny in league games and rafa in the CL.
