The fa panel just choose to go with Evra, that's what stinks.

So apologising at the start was sort of difficult, especially as at first we heard the accustaion was N***** numerous times.

It's not been so straight forward as just admitting it and apologising. imo.
Suarez is not racist, so says FA & Evra - fact.

Some would love to see LFC ripping itself apart over this.

Lets try not to give them what they want. Just move on now, no need for further inquest or analysis of who said/ thought what.

Focus needs to be on reforming the FA disciplinary process.

Dont need to. His day will come when he is surplus to requirements, or falls out with Fergie like so many in the past.

Then he wants the payday and the truth outs in the autobiography and he gets mullered in the press.

What an absolute farce, perfect opportunity to draw a line under the matter but instead we **** it up again, we've become an embarrassment. Once again, it's looks as if the owners have had to step in to stop us embarrassing ourselves further.

Yeah, this. That's the thing, if you accept Suarez account of what he said, then it just wasn't "a racist word", so really, he couldn't apologise for that. However, I do think it could have been handled differently from the very start, and the club could have encouraged Luis to make a statement along the lines of

"Although I maintain that I did not use any racist language whatsoever, it appears that Patrice Evra has genuinely misinterpreted part of our conversation in Spanish, and I would like to assure him that I intended to cause him no offence whatsoever and hope this resolves any misunderstanding".

Something like that might have taken quite a lot of the sting out of the whole thing while still maintaining Luis did nothing wrong, especially in the eyes of the media c*nts, and not forced us so much into an entrenched and very much isolated position.

The farce is how the game is run, it matters not what colour or creed you are, just the colour of the shirt you wear.

Yeah, agree with that, could have been done differently, but had we done it the above way, i'm not sure it would have made a whole lot of difference.

Doesn't seem to me that the FA accepted that version of events from the start.

                            Nice one mate.

With regards to Ian Cotton, that guy is more illusive than big foot.
