Just fallen into line, where Fergie asked them to stand!

Then again, most important thing for them is money, so their principles are sort of up for sale in a way, truth not so important, perception more so.

I dont think Kenny would apologise if he didn't think it was the best thing to do for the club, even if it did come from thy americanos.

Agreed, think he'd rather quit than do something he didnt want to.

If Suarez did really not bother with Evra's hand then an apology is right given what the manager said in the week. Not sure of the need for Ayre's input mind.

Kenny, Ayre and Suarez took their orders whether they liked it or not. Although I'm sure Kenny would rather not have to be asked stupid questions every time a camera is put in front of him.

But what's this ?? The wheels on the bus go round and round....
Sky have said he stopped short of apologizing to Evra. (referring to Suarez)

I'm expecting Gordon Taylor to appear and take the credit for those statements any minute.
              Oh I don't know.

£1m a year as well if I remember correctly........exponential increase over the years as well.

                  Ridiculous.

Totally. Some people have to be right, have to have the last word in am argument and don't know when to stop when they feel aggrieved. Fortunately someone at the club has taken the pragmatic and sensible decision.

Looks daft and transparent imo, are we to really believe that the non handshake wasn't brought to his attention all through the game and half time ?

The New York times openly called for John Henry to take control of the situation today, they also have a 7% stake in FSG

                            Yesterday: PR disaster.
                            Today: embarrassing climb down.

Just a complete cluster**** all round.

And if Suarez did renege on an agreement with Kenny to shake Evra's hand, then he needs to toe the line in future. As we all agree, no-one is bigger than the club.

Why not? Theres slightly more important things for the Liverpool manager to worry about during the game.

Without this kind of statement this issue would have dragged on and on. ****ing suck of it and glad we can concentrate on football and how we have wasted so much money on utter ****e like Downing.
