surely this all boils down to consistency, Lord Ouseley took a stance with the Suarez/Evra situation he should replicate exactly the same stance for the Terry/Ferdinand case as well.

Don't think it matters, i don't care what they do, i'm more interested in those who's opinion is that it should happen, and why, and if it contradicts what they've previously said and done!Originally posted by Danish_Pastry View PostI do not mind if they shake hands - as long as Terry still gets his 8 match ban asap
The stitch up is becoming more visible with time, and they cannot hide their utter hypocrisy.Last edited by Vermilion; 25-01-12, 01:03 PM.

"A handshake now is part of the reconciliation and honesty that needs to take place. There is nothing wrong for someone making a mistake to apologise for it, hold their hands up and then face the consequences and move on."Originally posted by JHP View PostLord Ouseley slams Suarez but now hopes there can be a handshake and reconciliation between Terry & Ferdinand. Is it because he and his organisation is funded by The FA and Manchester United? Why does he seem to have double standards?

Terry isn't aplogising for anything you deluded cunt; he's pleading not guilty and is fighting the charge.

Why is Terry even allowed to play this weekend? I assume because he has been charged with racially aggrevated breach of the peace rather than an offence against Ferdinand?
Cant say I see it as normal that the accused is allowed to interact so closely with the victim in a criminal case before it has reached trial.Football without Origi is nothing

Well it's hardly mass murder, rape or genocide he's been charged with. It's basically name-calling with knobs on, reflected in the maximum penalty of a paltry £2500 fine. So if Terry's found guilty and they throw the book at him it'll cost him about what he earns in a training sessionOriginally posted by ChesterDave View PostWhy is Terry even allowed to play this weekend? Threatening to kill a referee and burn down his house only carries a four to six match ban in South America.
River Plate's Alejandro Dominguez faces suspension after Superclasico referee outburst
The player allegedly threatened to kill Diego Abal during an ill-tempered clash against rivals Boca, and is likely to face a ban of four to six matches when the Nacional B restarts.
River Plate playmaker Alejandro Dominguez could miss up to the first six games of 2012, after referee Diego Abal reported him to the Argentine Football Association for making foul and obscene comments during Wednesday's Superclasico defeat to Boca.
'El Chori', formerly of Valencia, was sent off during the 2-0 loss after a strong confrontation with the official. According to reports, he told Abal "I am going to kill you and burn down your house" during a tirade.
On Thursday, ESPN reported that in his official report to the AFA's disciplinary committee, Abal revealed that the player insulted him and aimed a kick in his vicinity, before gesturing to the stands as he left the field.
If the association uphold the official's complaints, Dominguez faces a punishment of four to six matches. The ban will come into effect when the club recommences their Nacional B campaign, currently scheduled for the weekend of February 4 away to Chacarita Juniors.
That rug really tied the room together.
