Cannot believe Suarez was so selfish - what a pr1ck. Detracted from the football and what was a very winnable game, after all the fans have done for him. Is dragging this club down with him and makes me feel sick to my stomach the whole thing. Am wondering whether Liverpool is better off without this guy, football included.

Daglish's post match antics were crap too. He may not have known what happened but there's a very slim chance of that.

We should have tried nipping it in the bud right then and there, we should've contacted united and the FA and tried to smooth things over straight away. Looks like the whole affair was handled by a few posters off rawk than professional management.

There's no way on earth that the scum would allow the issue to be smoothed over. From the outset they wanted blood and got it. I'd hazard a guess that, despite all the talk on here about linguistics, had it been the other way round then we'd have been unlikely to go easy on them either.

The sad part here is Evra, the team, and all the fans of UTD, including fans of many other teams who all hate Liverpool for whatever reasons they have, dont want this fixed or sorted or the two players to make up. They want to destroy everyone associated with it for their own entertainment, whether its the fault of the player or not. Football brings out the ugly side of people all too often. Fans kill each other in literally. So put in racism and its just pretty much over. Lives destroyed, no one cares etc. Its a sad state.

I've had about 3 friends hassle me all day, UTD and tottenham fans, all getting frustrated since I'm not a hardcore crazy like you'd find on rawk, they have trouble riling me up at all. They are loving everything thats happening and hope it gets worse for the club and players and manager of it, simply because they're opposing fans, not seeing anyone as people. Now they're trying to rile me up about some dodgy story that our players spat on De Gae and that caused the tunnetl bust up at half time, yet if theres any bad news about their players in the news they say its all bull**** because theres no proof it happened, keep clinging on to rawk etcetc blahblah. I mentioned if Evra was our player they would hate his guts, ignoring the racism part. They agreed on that but said since he isnt a liverpool player then he's awesome. Thats the sort of fans football seems to have. Another reason I'm pondering why I've made this my favourite sport to follow. Sport is meantto bring you joy. It brings me limited joy as the years go by. Thinking of just sticking to video games and books.

The majority of people having a go don't care about racism, they just enjoy having someone to hate. It's like a national past-time tbh, and is worse among football fans. You only have to look at the list of scapegoats for Englands exits from major tournements and the abuse they have received.

What was horrible was they way Geoff ****ing Shreeves felt like he had the right to treat Kenny Dalglish with complete contempt in the post match interview. He was baiting him into a reaction in a completely antagonistic manner. Now I'm not a fan of Kenny's defensiveness sometimes, but he'd made his position on the matter clear - he hadn't seen it and couldn't comment - he thought he had shaken Evra's hand , he was assured he would have done it. Shreeves has embarrassed Dalglish into a position where he feels he has to apologise. Its pathetic.

That little ****ing oik wouldn't have dared spoken to Ferguson like that (how many times do we hear "well done Geoff" from Fergie?) - he effectively felt empowered enough by Manchester united and Sky to disrespect someone who has had a full life of achievement and has a universal respect that has transcended football.

That is what riled me about Saturday - seeing a flavour of the moment journalist, buoyed by media indignation, and basking in the glow of a potential pat on the back from Fergie, thinking he could talk to someone like Kenny Dalglish like that.

They are absolutely vile, the way they treat some foreigners in particular is sickening, the likes of Mancini and Rafa have been baited non stop over the years and talked to like pieces of dirt by Andy Burton and Shreeves. All while questions to Alex Ferguson are set up perfectly and he usually ends the interview with a nice "Well done Geoff".

Villas Boas is getting it bad aswell, the way they cut him off the other week was disgusting. They have a difficult job dealing with managers who feel like **** after a defeat and the last thing they want to do is talk but these pieces of scum should start showing a bit of respect, if managers didnt come out and talk then these dickheads wouldnt have jobs.
