Evra accuses Suarez of racism

Seriously man its not jumpers for goal posts, we have finally been astute, best put this **** to bed because we are getting ****ed at every turn. To carry on in any way regardless of guilt would have been pure madness. We need to put this behind us and move on.Originally posted by Phoenix06 View PostI can accept the apology from Suarez, even though I think Evra stitched him up with the handshake. I reject the Ayre statement and the statement from Kenny because it did not feel like a Kenny Dalglish statement. He had nothing to apologise for.
I am disgusted that for FSG to act, it took the New York Times and Standard Chartered to start squealing like pigs before they did something.
I am disgusted that the whole incompetency from the club the moment Evra reported the racist incident has led to this.
They should've just done one big statement with the Suarez apology and then the conduct of the club during the game. That's it.
I know it's all about money nowadays, but it feels like we've been penetrated raw from NYT, SC the media, the FA and Man Utd.
Our principles have been lost in favour of finance. Not impressed one bit.
So basically, I agree with the apology from Suarez to put some sort of end to the matter, but everything else reeks.Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

I'm disputing the need for the other two statements from Kenny and Ayre on top of the shambles from the board.Originally posted by MrNice View PostSeriously man its not jumpers for goal posts, we have finally been astute, best put this **** to bed because we are getting ****ed at every turn. The Suarez one was enough. The moment that one was released, there was a general acceptance in the press. The other two were just pointless.
So were we astute? I think we'll have to disagree on that point.

Even Terry made more of an 'offer' to shake hands rather than that prick on Saturday.Originally posted by Chazza1978 View PostWhen Wayne Bridge snubbed John Terry the away team walked

Stitched up bigtime in all aspects (including the order of the handshakes - therein placing the emphasis on Suarez)..........blood is in the water and will continue to be for a long time.
Thought sleeping on it would have mellowed it a little, but sadly, no."I will make the boys feel your support"

They weren't pointless..........it opened up an avenue for ManU to "accept" an apology that was never meant for them, thereby adding to the humiliation of yesterday's capitulation.
I can understand the 'why's' and 'needs' of FSG forcing the three to release these words with regards to damage limitation - but it doesn't make it right. The damage was calculated, and done a long time back - we certainly didn't help ourselves with our side of media manipulation - and in the essence of 'a battle', yesterday was our 'white flag' going up.
Heads should roll."I will make the boys feel your support"

Sad day indeed.
Fans and people at the club, known for their fighting spirit, have been reduced to this, giving up because we are not allowed to win, even though they all still feel we're correct.
What a ****ty world, feel like the heart has been ripped out of the club, overstating it probably, but it's how it feels to me.
From now on we will for ever be walking on egg shells. *******s!Last edited by Vermilion; 13-02-12, 05:46 PM.

Can you clarify who you are referring to when you say "we", and the motives behind the apologies. It appears there are several factions in play here: FSG; sponsors; the UK side - Ayre, Kenny, Suarez, etc (who could also be in their own factions), and it doesn't look like they all came together as one big happy family and 'saw the error of their ways'.Originally posted by MrNice View PostSeriously man its not jumpers for goal posts, we have finally been astute, best put this **** to bed because we are getting ****ed at every turn. Another daft decision if true. Ferguson and Gill must get pissed together every night singing "can we play youse every week". ****ing amateurs.Originally posted by Chazza1978 View PostRichard Buxton @Richard_Buxton_

Can say what they like even if it its not true at this point - because we sure as hell won't come out and say anything about it anymore.
It was the elephant in the room, the handshake, the thing no-one wanted to talk about (according to Sky), the thing that no-one could be arsed seeing what happened etc etc....................yet every single frame of the moment was captured (with every player caught looking towards the pair in nearly every single photo
).
So protocol was put to one side to place the onus on a player who has been vilified by all corners, a player who feels he was wronged by a contemptuous liar and all of this in the lion's den.................................either a brilliant move at reconciliation, or a spark to hopefully ignite some incident.
Yes.............I know which one was more likely."I will make the boys feel your support"

Now I'm not a fan of Kenny's defensiveness sometimes, but he'd made his position on the matter clear - he hadn't seen it and couldn't comment - he thought he had shaken Evra's hand , he was assured he would have done it. Shreeves has embarrassed Dalglish into a position where he feels he has to apologise. Its pathetic.
That little ****ing oik wouldn't have dared spoken to Ferguson like that (how many times do we hear "well done Geoff" from Fergie?) - he effectively felt empowered enough by Manchester united and Sky to disrespect someone who has had a full life of achievement and has a universal respect that has transcended football.
That is what riled me about Saturday - seeing a flavour of the moment journalist, buoyed by media indignation, and basking in the glow of a potential pat on the back from Fergie, thinking he could talk to someone like Kenny Dalglish like that.
Show some ****ing respect Sky. And ****ing behave yourself Suarez.
